..really tanking for the past 4 years and obamacare is coming fast. Imposing tax hikes on companies that have over 50 employees is just fukin stupid... soon it will be down to 20 or 10. You cannot defend your master anymore, he just built that.

When someone has a business and employees in a tough economy, and are barely getting by.....then a potus who will implement a massive healthcare tax IE Obama care, then raise income tax on those making more than 250k...people will get laid off. It isn't even economics really it's just basic math...

Next to that, the living standards, welfare standards and economic figures in many western european countries are (a lot) better then those in the states right now.
And, ask any economic about it, a lot of your economical problems are the result of republican policies during two terms of George Bush JR and NOT because of the (re)election of Obama.

Just like the workers in this country aren't going to be able to afford paying for all the leeches in this country. I really don't see what is so hard to understand about this. Romney promised to repeal it, therefore the companies had some hope. Now, they don't.

Our problems are the result of the New Deal and the creation of the Federal Reserve. Welfare is never sustainable, endless printing of money is never sustainable.

Nope, you are playing a simple blame-game here. The healthcare tax and the raise of income tax first of all influence individual citizens. They MIGHT influence the economy in an indirect way, through spending patterns of citizens.

The main ground for these job cuts / closings is the tough economy, a progress that has been going on for some years now, and frankly: the way the Bush administration has handled the banks and financial markets in thes years, sure hasnt helped the situation (understatement...)

I simply don't buy it, that tax cuts by the administration are the most important reason for job loss in the states. I aint saying businnes owners are rich eather, by the way.

The facts are the level of taxes that companies pay in western European countries are relatively way higher then those in the states, and over here taxcuts simply ain't the reason why companies go bankrupt or have to fire people. Its the result of a global economical regression, and frankly, i keep repeating it: the crisis is started in the USA because the Bush presidency gave banks and other financial instiutions way too much freedom. It are RIGHTWING policies which are for a large deal responsible for this crisis. If anything, a bit more socialism would have helped prevented this crisis from evolving at all!

It's not just the tax cuts, it's combined with the pounding businesses are going to take supporting Obama care. Those, combined with this, Thread: A Sea of RED!!! just does not show any signs of an economy that is going to improve!

That's not an argument, friend. God is actually a personal matter. You worship your god how you'd like, but it's really fairly irrelevant to solving the economic situation the world is now facing. The first step is to calm down! The world didn't end for us when Bush got elected a second term, it won't end for you either. You really need to stop treating the political parties like you treat your sports teams. God hasn't taken a side and, if he even exists (which I personally doubt), he probably doesn't require you to defend him.

We have real problems here. Attacking what you perceive to the the "other team" will not help anyone. We need to solve the problem of income inequality. If you and I can't afford to buy things, the economy will only get worse. The rich don't really care enough about us to help in any meaningful way. You don't have to carry their water. They'll never let us into their club.

Now they can start yelling "4 more years"
