List of Job Cuts/Closings Since Obama's Reelection

This one closing of a J.C. Penney store probably affects 300 jobs in packing distribution, clerks, maintenance, management, stock rooms. This is only the beginning, its going to get so much worse.

It wasn't his/her only post. Nothing productive to add, only inflaming comments meant to cause racial division.

Some of you have are unfortunately not seeing the big picutre.

The elite want to replace US as a superpower with a certain other country.

This cannot happen until the US has completely collapsed and on its knees.

So it has actually been in works for sometime, it has nothing to do with bush, obama or romney. It would have happened with any candidate that the elite selected. Because this is their agenda. You think voting Romney would help ? The man is selling jobs like yours to China just like Obama did. Wakeup. I can't believe how many people are disappointed that Obama won when they know fully well that it wouldn't make a difference either way.

The reason elite prefer Obama to be in power when this thing collapses is because the gullible idiots like the ones on this forum will blame a certain political ideology, religion, race, group or party. They have already succeded in dividing the country more than ever in the last 4 years. This will all erupt in a massive civil war.

It's so sad and disappointing to see many of the so called "truthers" who can't see past the real agenda of the elites.

Perhaps you don't care much about the companies themselves, that's your prerogative.

However, those thousands of laid-off people will now be on the streets competing with you for a job.

Oh, you have a job already? Well then, MORE of your paycheck will be going to support them with unemployment, food stamps, health care, etc. Additionally, THEIR lay-offs will affect OTHER businesses in the area as they will suddenly not have any "discretionary" money to spend in their communities.

It's like falling "dominoes" - the domino at the end of the chain knows nothing about the first one which fell and started the progression, but it falls anyway. Just as hard, just as inevitably.

Maybe YOU should start stocking up on survival supplies right now. YOUR job may not be quite so secure either.....

What I have there is a very nice list of companies to not give my business to...

If they laid people off, simply due to who won the election, they are simple minded, spiteful, and very much like the kid who wants to take his ball and go home.

Some people give Obama way too much credit.

Common sense tells you that someone who has made their living in the privat sector, investing in business, could do 100X better at creating jobs than a community Organizer....

But hey, I no longer believe Americans have common sense anymore.....not the majority at least.

Stores close all the time. Stores open all the time. You've just chosen some very small stores that don't have many employees and are trying to pass it off as catastrophic.

If stores were really closing because of the election, then they do not have sound business judgment in the first place. But please, quit being a sore loser.

These are companies who are cheap and greedy to pay for their workers healthcare. Yet again blaming Obama care when these companies can afford it and still make their profit. It's sad to know how greed affects the country. If the founding fathers of this great nation see this they'll bitch smack all these executive business owners. Now all these lay-offs are they the right thing to do? In a humanitarian perspective?

The ignorance of some people knows no limits. They are not running their company according to your dictates, so they should go broke? How many thousands of companies would you like to shut down, anyway?

Walmart in some distracts have a hiring freeze in effect. Short work weeks and no overtime are also in place.

We have 2 1/2 months til inauguration, there should be vigorous recounts and analysis in that time. I hope it is not over, it should not be.

This won't happen because they have a much better deal here than elsewhere anyway; doctors elsewhere don't make so much. But it's a bit of a nasty surprise after they spent and spent to attend US medical school, so they could get a US residency and a license to practice here. Now that they're in the debt, they are going to be slave labor to Obamacare. Not as bad as has happened to some, but I'm sure there are some who wish they had not chosen a medical career now.

I hate Obamacare because of the patient side. My costs go up, my benefits go down, so that I get to insure the HIV patients and illegal immigrants.

Domestic communists have been waiting since the 1920's for this opportunity. Russia has been fighting a cold war to degrade our military since the 40's. soros has braggged about converting the US to socialism for decades.
Sounds like someone has come up with a plan, that works!

Stefan, I share your thoughts about the direction our nation is heading, but I do not understand how not voting helps anything. If by chance voting s NOT rigged, at least I have done my part.
