President Barack Obama and Congress “need to come together to deliver change on immigration policy, and by that we mean … a roadmap to citizenship for our parents and communities,” said Cristina Jimenez, direct of an advocacy group, United We Dream. They aren't going to be taking jobs and contributing to the economy because the jobs are all going bye bye as it is. In fact, these slaves that Boehner and Co. wish to 'legalize' will end up hanging them all as the ship sinks and they're left for dead. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27409606 He's foolish if he thinks hispanics will support him. They will always go for the Dem. party. I'd support a guest worker program with no special path to citizenship and a provision that babies born here do not get citizenship. I'm not sure if the no-citizenship-for-babies provision could be made "Constitutional", but the 14th Amendment originally wasn't read to imply that anchor babies are citizens anyway. These people who want a path to citizenship should realize that one already exists. It's the existing legal path to citizenship, yes it's uncertain and depends on qualifications so they could be rejected, but that's what it is. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 16553491 United States 11/09/2012 07:13 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | WASHINGTON — Fresh off an election in which Hispanic voters largely sided with Democrats, Speaker John A. Boehner said Thursday that he was “confident” Congress and the White House could come up with a comprehensive immigration solution. Quoting: Laura Bow Immigration reform is “an important issue that I think ought to be dealt with,” Mr. Boehner, an Ohio Republican, said in an interview with Diane Sawyer on “ABC World News.” “This issue has been around far too long,” he said, “and while I believe it’s important for us to secure our borders and to enforce our laws, I think a comprehensive approach is long overdue, and I’m confident that the president, myself, others, can find the common ground to take care of this issue once and for all.” The words conveyed a new sense of urgency from Mr. Boehner, who said earlier this year that he thought it would be politically impossible to tackle a Republican proposal on the Dream Act, which sought to open a path to citizenship for some students in the United States illegally. More at [link to www.nytimes.com] Of course NOW they want to take it up, had to wait until after the elections so all those NON LEGAL IMMIGRANTS could cast their votes for Obama in all the key battleground states that don't require ID to vote! |

It will cost them more votes than they pick up. I'll never vote for any Republican ever again if they do this. I'll support genuinely conservative third-party candidates instead. Boehner should think twice. |

When are you going to wake up and realize that while you froth at the mouth about Obama you're very own party sells you down the river. They are not "conservatives" . Its all a circus show and you keep falling for it. Romney would have been the most liberal President since Johnson had he been elected. |

Granting amnesty would end the republican party and any chance they have of ever controlling the white house again. That's why there is zero chance of this happening. Of course Obama could just sign another executive order like the dictator he is anyway. |
