Just a big test run.

Sympathy for the people caught in the lie, though. :-( They had no idea even though the information was available to them -- no one thinks its 'real' until it happens to them.

Unless they are a GLPer of course.

The most important part of Obama's base is WHITE WOMEN. He would have LOST most of the states he won if it wasn't for white suburban female voters.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26915656

This is correct....the most significant voting block for Obama is WHITE SINGLE WOMEN followed by WHITE MARRIED WOMEN.

Women vote for communism when given a chance because women are inherently communist. They want someone else to work and give the proceeds of their labour to them and THEIR children.

This has been known so long the GREEKS even made a play about it called Assembly Women.

All communists like Lenin and Hitler openly talk about how you have to sell communism to the women and then the men will follow. And for anyone who does not know Hitler was a communist please remember it was the

NATIONAL SOCIALIST PARTY that he was the head of. Duh!

If white women voted in line with their husbands then communism would never take hold. In all countries where women are given the vote the size of the guvment explodes by an order of magnitude to provide all the "services" that the voting women demand. Of course these services are paid for by the taxes of men which are collected at threat of incarceration by the state.

When you rob peter to pay paulina you can be assured of the support of paulina.

The western world is being destroyed in the exact same way Germany was destroyed, Russia was destroyed, and the Roman Empire was destroyed.

By subverting the women to get the women to demand "free stuff" to be paid for by mens taxes which are to be extorted from the men via force of the state.

PERIOD.

There is also the element that no fault divorce was used to destroy Russia and it is also being used to destroy the western countries.

Lenin and Hitler were BIG TIME feminists playing up to the women about how they needed protection from the men by the state. Which is another way of saying that women can incite violence against men using the state.

And if you think women are not that messed up. Read this quote from the link below.

A woman who tried to friend me on facebook yesterday got "insulted" I said no. Inside ONE HOUR she was making a false sexual harassment allegation. From AUSTRALIA TO GERMANY.

Here is what she said.

"And it's not a matter of the german authorities "wanting" to arrest you. They have no option. I have used my considerable authority over them as a woman and commanded them to do so as you have assaulted and sexually harrassed me."

And are any WOMEN going to denounce this bitch as the lying man hater she is? Her facebook is in the thread...that is her real name apparently.

Nope...making false allegations to incite police brutality against men is just peachy with our women in the western world.

Here is the thread.

Struck me too... like a slap in the face.

The family featured in the article are exactly the type of Americans that we need to help in natural disasters. There is no way they would be expected to have the resources necessary to deal with this on their own...

Yet, these are exactly the people we are letting down.

How many well off people are getting FEMA paid Hotel rooms... FEMA Generators... additional resources to clean up and get power on? That is what I would like to know...

Well off people & the middle class who have homeowners insurance are NOT getting any help from FEMA! Once they know your income & that you have insurance you do NOT qualify for FEMA assistance.

And the corrupt Red Cross who are showing up at the disaster with hot chocolate and cookies and whose CEO makes over a million dollars, where is their help for this disaster? They keep taking in millions, where is it going? Where did all of the Red Cross millions go after Haiti?

No media is allowed inside the fenced complex, which houses operations for JCP&L’s army of workers from out of the area. The FEMA website indicated on Monday that there had been a shelter for first responders, utility and construction workers to take a break, although the compound now contains a full-time shelter operated by the state Department of Human Services.

OF COURSE NOT.

As shitty as it must be living there this is absolutely NOTHING like a concentration or internment camp. Comparing it to them downplays the horrors of a concentration camp.

To be honest this just sounds like a shitty shelter. You can come and go as you please. No one is being held there against their will.

awww gee, i had to have cable tv with the deluxe nfl package, so no, i couldn't save for a disaster like this, to pay for a hotel room for a few weeks, besides, it's the governments responsibility to care for me, wah, i'm just a lost little sheeple, help me

this is america, so we should be staying in a nice hotel that the government pays for, they can just print the money needed to pay for it, what good is being a citizen of a free country if they don't give you things for free, that's not a free country, so keep america free, give freedom

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27261702

It's about 12 days now since Sandy. I know because I got my power at home back 2 days ago, and I'm told it was out 10 days. Since my home was not flooded and I have a generator, and I was able to buy enough gasoline, I was able to run my house on a generator for 10 days. This gave us heat, water, everything except I smelled of gasoline from maintaining the generator.

If we had been flooded, I don't know what we would have done. I expect we would have survived in heavy clothes, but for 10 days that is quite hard, and not everyone is in strong health as we are.

Having cold weather clothing is one thing. Having enough to survive living in a tent shelter in freezing weather, in the middle of New Jersey and not after any sort of nuclear attack, is not something one should have to plan for.

This Awareness indicates it is that kind of war,
wherein the screams are not heard at the moment. The
gunshots are not heard on the streets at present. It is a
war that takes its victims now, but the victims do not
even recognize they have been taken, and the screams
will not eome for perhaps months or years from now.

Then they will scream and ask, “What happened?
Where is my world? Where is my farnily. How did this
come to be. What have you done to my life?” This
Awareness indicates the screams are delayed. The gun-
shots are delayed, but the controls are being put in place
quietly, silently, thoroughly and completely so that
entities will not be able to wiggle or move when the
strings are tightened.

FEMA camp test runs. FEMA is bullshit. NY has been screwed. I've read all sorts of stories about this shit. Let me run some down -

*Bloomberg prevents the National Guard from helping out - says the NYPD will handle things just fine.

*Man charged for gas hoarding - he was got money together and went to buy gas for his friends and neighbors! Granted - he did not use legal containers for gas...you have to do what you have to do in times of need. Fuck 'em.
[link to www.nbcconnecticut.com]

*I heard an unconfirmed story that a woman who had extra food, or bought extra food at the store had put it out on a shelf in her front yard for people to help themselves - she was supposedly ticketed because did not have a license to sell or donate, or whatever.

Watching CNN now (I know...not reliable), but they just mentioned that ~5,000 people are in shelters, there are 70 shelters around the city, and FEMA trailers are FINALLY on their way.

Texas State tax collections soar, setting up chance for record budget surplus

By Kate Alexander

Texas could be heading toward a record state budget surplus just two years after facing a historic deficit.

Texas Comptroller Susan Combs reported Wednesday that total tax collections for the 2012 budget year, which ended Aug. 31, were $3.7 billion higher than had been estimated in December.

That total amounts to 13 percent more than the $40.3 billion in tax revenue that Combs had projected would come in during the first half of the state's two-year budget cycle and was even higher than the estimates lawmakers used to write the 2012-13 budget in May.

Soaring oil and gas production in West Texas and the Eagle Ford Shale in South Texas are major drivers of the better-than-expected revenue collections.

The production taxes for oil and natural gas together came in about $1 billion, or 39 percent, higher than projected, and the industry also contributed heavily to strong sales tax collections, which were up 12.6 percent from the previous year.

The franchise tax, which is paid by businesses, also exceeded expectations by more than $500 million.

From the International Business Times:

Top 5 most indebted U.S. states

5. Illinois
4. NJ
3. Texas
2. NY
1. California

[Vermont is the least indebted state.]

Market-valued unfunded public pension liabilities made up 67 percent of all state debt, according to State Budget Solutions, a research and nonpartisan advocacy group.

The group's third annual state debt report, which looked at combined debt and future spending obligations in all 50 states as of Dec. 31, found that $2.8 trillion of the $4.19 trillion total debt total goes toward pension liabilities.

Regular outstanding debt and other post-employment benefit liabilities each contribute around $600 billion to total debt.

"Our states are in trouble and no amount of budget gimmicks, political posturing or hiding bills will fix the massive debt that they face," said Bob Williams, president of State Budget Solutions. "Drastic reforms, innovations and political courage are needed to put our states back on the road to fiscal survival."

Conservatives hail it and liberals dispute the story, but one thing is certain about the Lone Star State's employment success: The number is real.

For the last few weeks, I've been unable to get a startling statistic out of my head: Since the recession officially ended, Texas has created more than 4 of every 10 new jobs in America.

That's right, Texas: the reddest of red states, home to gun lovers and school textbooks that openly question whether the Founding Fathers intended for the separation of church and state. I am no ideologue.

At least in Texas our major cities are major revenue centers, unlike California where you have dozens of major cities declaring bankruptcy and tax revenue is falling faster than a prom dress at a frat party....tax revenue making its way to Texas as most California businesses are relocating in Texas

Government policies help booming Texas pull business from sinking California

[link to www.deseretnews.com]

California, Illinois and New York would love to make their disgruntled residents believe that there is no other way of running a state, that liberal economics really do work if you just give it another 100 years and about 100 trillion more in revenue

States like Texas, like North Dakota piss them off because they prove that lower taxes and business friendly environments really do work

How about South Carolina, which is rapidly becoming the car building capital of the northern hemisphere, as even European companies like Daimler and BMW are moving production to Spartenburg, away from northern states and Canada

You can't bean cheap utility costs, cheap rent and labor you can pay less, because it costs less to live in these states

Well tell em this is his last chance!
To git the family in da FEMA camp!

Sooooo....FROZALITA jump a little higher...FROZALITA Come sit by my fire!...

LOL....that would prolly go over well...

Here's a line from another song...

Cryin won't help ya, cryin won't do ya no good.

Politics are over...you served your purpose so no one is going to do shit now. Better get your own act together because photo-op time is in the past and the media isn't going to be around video taping any weeping cold retards bitching about anything for the 5:00 News because it doesn't look good.

Here's what you do...go outside and make a pile of your stuff that is laying around, light it on fire, stand around and sing that "Obama's gonna lead us" song and maybe someone will show up and give you a can of soup and a blanket. Other than that?...might as well just start making Popsicles out of your snot and saving em for when things get really bad.

Re: Bitter cold inside a disaster shelter...."We got f--ked!"
You know, you would think that this is the first hurricane that's ever hit the US and caused damage and destruction, listening to people bitch and moan. Short of Hurricane Katrina, how about Andrew ('92, and lived through it, lost everything), Ike ('08), Wilma ('05), Charlie and Ivan ('04) and finally and most recently Irene. Better yet, read the link for the amont of damages and deaths: [link to nation.time.com] And lets not forget the areas of the country that have been hit with catastrophic tornados that's resulted in major loss of life and property. Those folks literally may have minutes or even seconds to self survive, if any time at all.

What did people do before the days of FEMA and government tit sucking? Easy. They pulled up their big boy and big girl panties, pitched in together and got shit done without waiting around for the government. It wasn't someone elses job to clear the trees and garbage in your neighborhood. It was yours.

Definition of a disaster: if you see it coming, get the hell out of the way. If you can't, your life just got a hundred times more difficult, assuming you live. Newsflash for everyone: HURRICANES SUCK AND IF YOU LIVE CLOSE TO THE COAST THEY SUCK EVEN HARDER!!! You're previous life before getting hit will never be the same, and in the days and weeks afterwards will be the worst days EVER you will live. Kickin' back on a Sunday, drinking beer and eating pizza while you watch football? Nope. Sleeping in a nice comfy bed that you've woke in for years? Nope. Having replaceable "things" around you you've accumulated over the years? Nope. Gone. All gone. And you think some omnipotent government agency is going to come in and make it all better with a wave of a hand? Rrrriiiigggghhhhtttt. Newsflash again: never has and never, ever will.

Yet we think because we all joined hands and sang Kumbaya and re-elected a kinder, gentler president (again) that somehow he would make things better because of his compassion for the common man. Newsflash yet again: he could care absolutely less. Voted for him? Thanks, sucker. Did you give him a few million for his reelection? No? Maybe next time you will and get his personal attention when you have him in your pocket. Think it would be any different with a Republican? Nope. Not at all. Think the government is there to serve you? No. I think that's the Hopeium hangover talking.

Here's a magical, mysterious idea to consider. Don't rely on the government and get ready to take care of yourself as much as possible. Yes it may be "hard work" and cost a dinner out to put back some basic supplies that you may have to buy but those things aren't mysteriously falling out of the sky, much less the governments pocket. You will not be living a luxurious lifestyle but you will be better equipped to live and breath another day so you can extricate your ass out of the shithole situation it's currently in. You might be cold, you might be sweaty and dirty and you may not have clean socks (or any socks) to change into, but you will be alive. And breathing. And everything else is unimportant at that point. And for God's sake, help the people around you in the same shitty situation instead of making it more difficult then it already is. Make yourself useful. Yeah, foreign concept to many, I know.

And finally, people will die. Maybe a friend, maybe a family member. YOUR life will go on beyond theirs. Don't expect much more then some token pity from people living on the other side of the country, insulated from your suffering. Do be grateful to the rescue workers that have dragged themselves from families and comfortable homes to help you and the people around you. All they can offer is a cup of hot chocolate and not a Big Mac and fries? Be grateful for what you are getting. You could be much worse off. Like dead. Get some perspective.

Except for a few people, poor souls, this thread is all trolls daisy chaining for their troll pay.

Anyone who thinks any political party has anything that they can do in the weeks and months after a major natural disaster in an overbuilt area is like a little kid waiting for daddy to pick them up.

Pitching blame at political parties, women, or anyone else is just sad. You sound like you would be running around with pitchforks if you could get your hands on one.

As the person posting above me said, these aren't concentration camps because you can leave.

If you are not too old or sick or taking care of someone's children get out there and start cleaning up the mess. You'll warm up.

I have to admit I read this whole thread because it is so ridiculous. And I can't believe I am responding but grow up!

No..there is no such things as FEMA camps...our guvment would NEVER build interment camps for its own people.

You americans deserve what you are getting for being so stupid. Really.

MILLIONS of people are now "awake" to what is going on. And yet, your criminal politicians walk the street in the sure and certain knowledge that not even ONE of you have got the guts to do what you know needs to be done.

If you do not think THAT is stupid? Then I do not know what you might think IS stupid.

Well I am not German. I was born in Australia and I was working in Germany on a contract when I divorced and so I stayed here. Germany is easily the best country I have lived in and so I plan to make my home here.

I am very well versed in German history. I have been talking to a LOT of germans. I even know one man who was a soldier in WW II. He has taught me a lot about what was happening in Germany in the 30s as an EYE WITNESS.

If you americans think what is in your history books even remotely resembles what was going on in Germany in the 30s I have news for you. Obama would look HONEST compared to a US history book on Germany in the 30s. Really? You think the winners do not lie about what happened?

I can tell you stupid americans this. You are walking down the same path the Germans walked down in the 30s. I am quite happy to STFU about how you are about to be killed off by your own guvment. Doesn't bother me. I am about 90% chance to survive WW II where I am.

You guys in the US/UK? Any person living in a decent sized city is less than 10% chance to survive. Only those living in remote areas or very mountainous terrain stand a better than 20% chance to survive. And their biggest problem will be people flooding into those areas trying to survive the helicopter gunships that are going to be flying around killing people like so many sheep on the flatter areas and in the cities.

Yep...I really should just STFU and let you americans deal with the WW III that that your guvment is bringing on to you like so many germans STFU about WW II that the german guvment was bringing on them.

One of the reasons I am in Germany is this. It is WELL KNOWN that in the 30s many brave german men stood up and denounced Hitler as leading the nation "nowhere good".

These men did not claim that the Nazis were going to lead Germany into another big war. In the 30s another big war was UNTHINKABLE. Go talk to some older germans or to the children of that generation. They would tell you that if anyone said "Hitler has a plan to lead us into another big war" you would have been laughed at and ridiculed as a COMPLETE IDIOT.

Funny how those who are ignorant laugh at and ridicule those who are better informed. Kind of ironic, don't you think?

But MANY men stood up and said "this is leading nowhere good". But in the end they were all marshalled into fighting another war DEMANDED BY THE WOMEN MOSTLY.

Those men who spoke out were often "disappeared" never to be seen again. To even slightly criticise the nazis might leave you out of a job with no one willing to hire you because the nazis had heard about your criticism. And so men were cowed.

On April 18th 2012, 8 months ago or so, I walked in to a German court over a deliberate issue I created. I overstayed my 90 days visa by 10 days to force the German guvment to talk to me. They had been trying to ignore me for a while.

The judge invited 4 armed police officers into the court to attempt to intimidate me. I thought they were going to arrest me and I made plans for that.

I told the judge, in front of 4 police officers, and about 6 other witnesses, 2 I think were plain clothed officers, as well as the court officials, that I knew there was tyranny in the guvments of Australia and Ireland and that I had been long persecuted by these guvments for exposing them as criminal cartels.

I told the judge that every man and woman knows that in Germany in the 30s many brave men did the same and they were repatriated from places like France and England and refused sanctuary in these places.

I told the audience that if there was ONE people on earth that knew that when a man was willing to risk his life to denounce tyranny in guvment and knew that they are well advised to give such a man sanctuary it was the german people.

It was quite a dramatic little speech. Very well done if I say so myself.

The judge, of course, needed to pretend that I was "crazy" and did not even comment on my claim that the Australian and Irish guvments were criminal cartels. So he issued a summary judgement of "guilty" of overstaying my 90 day visa for 10 days....which is laughable as no evidence was presented that the legislation applies to me.

And here is it...November...they will not arrest me because I have talked to LOTS of german men and asked them if they would sit on a jury and hear my case....they are DEAD KEEN to do so....and therefore there is no chance that the geramn guvment could convict me of ANY CRIME about living in Germany because there is not a german alive over the age of 18 who would not agree that a man denouncing his guvment as a criminal cartel should be given sanctuary from whence to do such.

Apparently most americans are too stupid to learn from german history....so you deserve the WW III that is coming your way.

Just think about it. Lots of people are warning that the US Guvment is leading the US into world war III. Lyndon LaRouche being the most vocal and most credible.

And you stupid americans are walking down the same path as Germans did in the 30s and you are too arrogant to see that is what is happening.

You guys really are that stupid. Just like MRAs are stupid.

Just a big test run.

Sympathy for the people caught in the lie, though. :-( They had no idea even though the information was available to them -- no one thinks its 'real' until it happens to them.

Unless they are a GLPer of course.

Re: Bitter cold inside a disaster shelter...."We got f--ked!"
what were the conditions people were escaping to be in this camp?

I am afraid the article linked was probably some sort of propaganda.. It is easy to just yell 'propaganda!' at things.

Here is my angle:

I went down to Katrina to help. There were houses and rows of houses that looked like bombs hit them. The people who had lived in those homes were elsewhere - either gone to relatives in other states, in FEMA facilities, in the efffing thunderdome, or possibly living in their cars in people driveways, etc.

ANYWAY - the conditions in the FEMA camp may be bad, but it isnt clear a)what the alternative is (flooded disaster?) b)when the images\issues are being reported - i mean was this right after, or was it yesterday?

Those people are surrounded by medical care, power and communication infrastructure, piles of blankets.... Sure its cold. Its a disaster zone....

One thing that is troublesome: The censorship or authoritarian approach to people who are cranky... They need to figure out how to facilitate people who are going to be fixating on some sort of republican conspiracy FEMA thing.. As well as those who simply are used to being coddled and are not used to disaster situations, or used to having to be patient while a large disaster infrastructure attempts to make sweeping improvements to the situation.

Its like a battle zone - the resources, etc... It has to be used strategically to fix as much troubles as possible.. Right?

Anyway.. I am still afraid of the idea of being in one of these camps, and I can fully understand fear and concern about being a) out of home b) under supervision of people who do not have any clear jurisdiction over you.

maybe in your neck of the woods, but I spent nearly 10 years in Nova Scotia, and it was near impossible to get anyone interested in taking action on anything...from skyrocketing electric rates to GMO foods, to hospital closing and ER wait times to the surreal eminent domain seizure of a family farm to give to a foreign mining company

I have been politically active all my life, and I know in places like NY, Montana, VT, TX, people get pissed and organized. You can at least get them to talk about the problems and they tell you what they think

In my part of Canada it was like pulling teeth to get anyone to share their opinion (unless it was to bash the US, that they were pretty quick to be vocal on, I guess Americans is one of the last groups not protected by political correctness...)

Now it could be the area I was in...perhaps Toronto and BC are different, just as CT is different from NV

Wherever you live, it is important to not play ostrich and think the problems will just go away by themselves...
