Men and women cheat for different reasons and have a totally different mindset about sex.

For men sex is often just a mechanical act with NO emotional content so men CAN come back and love and be faithful.

Women on the other have cheat to either fulfill some sort of inner emotional need ... OR (MUCH more often)... as a way to exhibit and exhibit CONTROL BEHAVIOR. In either case the woman is NOT ever going to respect her spouse ever again ... so time to head out the the door, no matter how emotionally hurt one is or how much it costs economically. (and the man IS going to get screwed on the money side even if it is the woman who cheated ... which is a good reason for a male TO NEVER MARRY)

I went through the same situation.
I stayed with my wife for the sake of our children, and I'm very glad that I did, but make no mistakes about how your marriage will change.
I do not love my wife the same way I use too, I view her differently and I would have really wished for a new life but as I stated earlier, I do not regret staying for the sake of my children.
My oldest is now 21 year of age, he has turned out to be an exceptional young man, I thank God for this blessing!

I wouldn't do it. I took my wife back after she had an affair and she ran up the credit cards and left again a few years later with an older, rich man. I have been with several women since then and I am beginning to realize that they don't need, or even really want, us as men to focus on them. It's too much pressure. We need to have goals that exist outside of the relationship, or they get bored with us. My advice to this man, after I slap him silly, is to stop begging and get focused on something else. Do things that the ex wouldnt approve of, things you wanted to do all along before your sack was emptied into her purse. Take back your life as a man. Strip club therapy will help teach you that a pretty face doesnt mean a pretty heart, and that all women look essentially the same from the neck down...
It also teached men that signals can be faked and that we can be worked by a wink and a pair of perky tits.
