1. In most places Coyotes are overpopulated.
2. They have no natural predators in most places.(Only human)
3. Thus they eat, eat, eat, and eat...
Coyotes can absolutely change an ecosystem when they aren't left in check. Quail, Grouse, Deer, and Turkey are just a couple animals that coyotes can wipe out.


I see no problem with the contest, more than likely 90% of those guys participating won't even kill a yote.

Coyotes are nuisance animals that kill farm animals and will attack people...I've put them down myself out in the woods.
