why would onlly the stars be buying any lockers? never an unknown face wins ever
silly sheep.you believe anything.the stand in actors are every one not a star.

I don't watch TV much, but we were on vacation a few months ago and had a chance to watch a little while in a hotel. Storage Wars is probably faked, though it is a good fake....but Barter Kings is the sorriest BS I have ever seen. They could at least get two people who could act if they are trying to trick us into thinking it's real!

Hester is butthurt that everyone hates him, not only on the show but in the viewership. He has a poor attitude towards everyone else. He thinks he is big shit, but he had to buy a smaller store because he was doing so poorly.

Plus his 'yuuuup' SHTICK is fucking annoying...

When you act like an asshole and people start treating you like one, don't be surprised.

Only morons think that ANYTHING on television is real or not controlled.

All these so called reality shows TV are fake these days...

isn't it strange they always make a huge profit?
isn't it strange that there is always a "expert" around the corner?
isn't it strange it's always the same people who buy? if they really would make so much money with it there would be dozens of people bidding on the lockers.

Although it may not come as a huge surprise that "reality" TV is somewhat contrived, Storage Wars has taken it to a new level that places the entire industry in doubt.

Storage Wars is an American reality television series on the A&E Network that premiered in 2010. The show features auctioneers Dan Dotson and Laura Dotson, as well as auction hunters Dave Hester, Darrell Sheets, Barry Weiss, and the team of Jarrod Schulz and Brandi Passante. When rent is not paid on a storage locker for three months in California, the contents are sold by an auctioneer as a single lot of items. The show follows professional buyers who purchase the contents based only on a five-minute inspection and what they can see only from the door when it is opened. The goal is to turn a profit on the merchandise.

Great concept, and the show is entertaining, the only problem being the show is completely fake. And I mean 100% phony...as for Brandi's breasts, the jury's still out on that one.

Personally, I suspect they're real and they're spectacular!

The show was started by Dan Dotson and his wife, Laura. Dan and Laura Dotson appear in every episode as the auctioneer and his wife. Dan has been been playing this role for nearly 40 years and is the owner of American Auctioneers.

Ummm..... Duh, you'd have to be a fool to think it is real. Its used to drive people to the locker auctions, make them think that they might find gems.

what something is valued at is open for speculation
like pawn stars,they dont give big bucks out like that and it maked people think junk is valuable beyond compare.
