Drudge's map is accurate. The vast majority of counties in America go republican. I don't honestly understand the hostility of rural people to city people. It's disturbing.

It's very simple. When you take a caged beast from the zoo and try to set it free - meaning- back to its more natural environment - it is usually rejected and killed. Why? Because one who has been caged develops behaviors, mannerisms, and routines that are unsuited for 'the wild'.

And then again in 2020 when Texas finally goes blue for good thanks to the influx of Latinos.

Rural america is Red, the cities are blue. That's how it's always been. This map hasn't changed significantly from 2008 or even 2004.

But it's the same thing all over, apparently.

Take Egypt, for example.
The country folk are easily brainwashed by their fire-breathing Imams, they see nothing of value in modern culture, and so they vote FAR-RIGHT which in their case means severe Sharia Law and parties like the Muslim Brotherhood. The city-folk vote progressive, against the imposition of Sharia Law and hope to join the 21st century.

Here in America we see Romney proudly proclaiming himself to be "severely conservative" and winning the vote of country folk. Fuck those city people who think they're better, that's what he's really saying.

And this is mostly true too. Texas gets more and more blue each election as the cities grow, while the rural areas populations are mostly static.
