Question for doomers

What if the earth isnt going to get hit by something major, what if there won't be a super earthquake that rocks the entire planet, what if the government isnt developing a virus to wipe us all out?

Is it possible, despite all the evidence and all the sources you see, that the conspiracy isn't that the government is hiding impending doom, but rather, CREATING the idea of doom? Despite all your emotional investment in the belief that they are out to get you, couldn't it be possible that you have been played? Couldn't it be Possible that they WANTED you to believe all this stuff for a reason completely contrary to what you think it is? At some point you have to recognize that they know what you fear. Don't you think they feed off that?
