Did any of you people ever listen to loud music because you thought you were being cool? |

Report Copyright Violation | Did any of you people ever listen to loud music because you thought you were being cool? Everyday at around 12pm these teenagers who I guess just got a car, just park outside and listen to annoying music real loud. Not really completely, but raise the volume, lower it, etc. It feels force and I think in their minds they probably think the people walking by are thinking they are cool.
Today they played it loud for about 5 seconds, then a car alarm would sound, then repeat the process later on.
The question basically is, are teenagers in general stupid, and if so do you feel you were stupid when you were teenagers? |

Now that I am older, I still have loud music on, but my husband is deaf (seriously) and he can't hear it. Of course, it's Merle Haggard, not Nirvana, too.
Yes, teenagers are stupid and yes, I was a stupid teenager. I have stupid teenagers that I look at and go WTF? and tell them to turn down their music at home. Part of a cycle, I figure. |

The point is that it doesn't seem like they're playing it because they particularly want to listen to music, but because it makes them feel cool. I rode in one once and said never again. If the car rattles it is too loud and they will pay when they are older, probably not that old. Same with constant use of headphones these days.
