Paul Harvey is not talking about the US government demanding global worship of the UN here, but Rv.ch13 is an excellent prophesy. It foretold the USA dropping the atomic bomb on Hiroshima.

if I was The Devil and I wanted to take civilization down with me, by their own free surrender, I would tell them I am God, promise them eternity in heaven as long as they pay lip service to me by repeating over and over the lies I write in a book, and laugh at them as they delude themselves so badly they think they actually feel "God", see visions of "God" while clinically dead, pray to a false illusion they make themselves, kill people to force them to worship "God", oh yes, the part where they kill their children thinking they are Satan gives me a good belly laugh.

I would pretend to be God and even send someone to die on a cross to save humanity.

You wouldn't do it yourself.... do you mean you would send soldiers.... human guiena pigs?

I wouldn't destroy society...in fact, I'd be a pretty cool guy and let them do their own thing.

Since God made the devil to be His adversary, and to try to be the bad to His good, then wouldn't the worst thing the devil could do would be to not play along?

Cause it's not like he has a chance, anyways, and everyone know sit. He knows from the get-go that the Almighty can just snap His fingers at any time and make him disappear. At that point, peaceful noncompliance stands a better chance of agitating God than playing your role as the bad guy who corrupts everyone.

But maybe I'm too smart to be the devil. Or maybe the devil values his existence and just does whatever God tells him to do.
