in laymans terms, someone please explain why he resigned? Did he know something? What's the real story behind this?
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26075182 Petraeus refused to either a)take the fall for benghazi or other crimes, or b) refused to keep silent any longer on these issues regarding what he knew the administration has done. He was clearly being blackmailed by the admin and he had a decision to make. Being a man with a shred of moral character left, he decided to make his exit- expect fireworks soon. ^this^ But his job isn't finished. The ultimate courage and moral character will be on display if he decides to tell the world the TRUE story, hopefully with others at his side.
