Think Hitler, Lenin etc. If you have been watching there have been at least 4 other high ranking admiral and generals recently removed from the post. The admiral of the Stennis battle group was one. Yes, I think he has big plans for a complete take over of the government and first point of order is to eliminate his opposition. Actually some have suggested a military coup was underway.
