OK...maybe not Space 1999, but why did he just pull this out of his ass?! Post-election?

If I understand it correctly, he didn't fully authorize it until "AFTER" he won the election. Meaning, there was a clause in there that said "If I Win" -- we can continue with the outpost.

Had Romney been president, this would have been null and void and they would of had to reissue the request to Romney.


Let's take away ANY and EVERY conspiracy for a second and pretend like the world is exactly as they claim it is...This would actually be AWESOME news...

Wasn't it a couple of months ago that they said they were planning to send a crew up to an asteroid or something to see if they could land on it and possibly divert it in case an asteroid was hurtling towards Earth in the future...

Sending men to Asteroid + Moonbase = A possible threat they know about....
