extrememly disappointed by the lack of doom!

I have been eagerly awaiting some doom to kick in and have been thoroughly disappointed thus far. I thought for sure there would at least be some mini doom leading up to the big event. Not a thing! We can all point to occurences like 6+M earthquakes, hurricane sandy, the growing economic instability, and being on the verge of wwIII as signs of doom to come. But, if I don't see some real doom soon, on a cataclysmic level, I just may start second guessing all of the prophecies.
