Life could have been interesting on Earth IF there weren't killer bankers with unlimited power keeping humanity as their slave while destroying/forbidding important inventions like free-energy devices or water-motors etc., you got it.

If we just can't get these machines then I say let the Matrix totally collapse, we'll be better off if the planet goes down and we start somewhere else or just ascend to a higher plane exactly like in the great sci-fi series of Stargate Atlantis.
