isn't that silly in a state with democrat majority?
floridas message was clear in the way it voted, this message is from the angry old white
male club.

Florida results:
49.9% D
49.2% R
There is no democrat "majority", and the numbers were this close in nearly all the battleground states
stop believing the BS about a mandate the media keeps repeating...
...Obama won by a squeaker in most states he carried, less than 1-2% in most of the ones I watched
So don't those other 50% of the people have rights too?
Quoting: IssueX While you are right about the Florida results for President, you are wrong about the other swing states. Here are the most recent results from the other nine "swing states" (third party candidates not included in the totals):
New Hampshire: Obama 52.2%, Romney 46.4%
Virginia: 50.8%, Romney 47.8%
North Carolina: Romney 50.6, Obama 48.4%
*Ohio: Obama 50.1, Romney 48.2%
Wisconsin: Obama 52.8%, Romney 46.1%
Minnesota: Obama 52.8, Romney 45.1%
Iowa: Obama 52.1, Romney 46.5
Colorado: Obama 52.1, Romney 46.5
Nevada: Obama 52.3, Romney 45.7
*Counting of provisional ballots, that majority of which are in Democratic precincts, won't be counted by state law until November 17th.
Additionally, the most recent nation-wide vote count for President is
Obama 61,514,370 50.5%
Romney 58,391,041 47.9%
While these totals are not complete and official because votes are still being counted, they are fairly close to the official results from 2004:
Bush 62,040,610 50.7%.
Kerry 59,028,444 47.3%
One more data set from Florida. The proposed amendment to the state constitution to outlaw health insurance mandates is losing 51.48%/48.52%.
Of course, those that voted for Romney still have rights, just as I still had rights after Bush, Bush, and Reagan won. What I didn't have was the "right" to demand that my desires for government policy had to be followed and that the Republicans had to bow to my wishes.
Welcome to the wonderful system of government that the framers envisioned. I love America. Do you?
