There's way more to this story than "old military guy cheats on wife".

While everyone was rushing to judgment on this, I was thinking wait a minute, it's not that simple, it's likely about Benghazi which is, I think, way more complex than anyone realizes. But then . . . it seemed to me there's more, that this woman was recruited for a very specific mission/purpose, which required getting involved in every aspect of his life.

I feel bad for Petraeus. He never stood a ghost of a chance. Paula is hot!!!...and a very accomplished woman.

Could it be that Petraeus and Paula Broadwell didn't have an affair, but she, as a good soldier and graduate of West Point, agreed to be involved in the cover story of "having an affair", so Petraeus would resign as Director of the CIA and not have to testify about Benghazi next week.

Another thing....This story comes out on Friday, which is the day stories come out when TPTB want the least coverage, hoping it'll die down (at least a little bit) by Monday morning. This won't.

Interesting, right at the beginning, Jon mentions last guy at this level who had a journalist embedded with him (McCrystal) got fired....now we have Petraeus resigning, weird huh?
