I am both a super taster and a super thinker and its not funny. I have a realy hard time eating at friends dinners and restaurants i can feel the taste of a molecule of anything and it can totaly destroy my apetite, the list of what i can not eat or blend is sooo long. Same with the thinking and logic, its realy frustrating to meet a non thinker and most people are non thinkers i tell you that, many people come to me for my advices.I make music i make art i design gardens im a carpenter i design clothes and so on i cant stop thinking of everything that is possible sometimes inpossible to do. I also kok a lot of supertaste foods.

Fellow supertaster here, and I totally understand. My tastebuds are easily overwhelmed too. I need my meals to be simple, without spices, and "the fewer ingredients in any one dish, the better".

Since you are a supertaster too, I am curious to know, do you eat one thing at a time and don't start eating the next item until the first one is completely finished? (e.g. If you have chicken, mashed potatoes, and peas on your plate, do you first eat all the chicken, then eat all the peas, then eat all the potatoes?) I am just wondering if this is perhaps a supertaster trait.

My husband, who is not a supertaster, will have a bite of chicken, then eat some peas, then have a bite of potatoes, then go back to the chicken, then more potatoes, and keep going back and forth like that all over his plate. But I am unable to do that.

I find the shift between eating different items to be a bit jarring. It's less of a shock to my tastebuds if I just eat all of one thing before eating the next one.

I am wondering if it is the same way with you?
