Not going to be the end of the world. Most I think will happen is that the so called "aliens" will make contact with us. Perhaps all media around the world will say the so called "ET's" are communicating with our leaders. It might be one of the great deceptions that are in the future of the coming NEw World ORder and mark of the beast.

I agree. I'd like to know where the mass hysteria is. In previous years it always looked like the mass hysteria would come, bigger than Y2K. Now we are here, nothing.

Its just like everyone stopped talking about it. Its odd. Such a big build up to Y2K by comparison.

I don't think I believe it, but at the same time, I was kinda looking forward to the mass hysteria and build up.

There is more than just the Mayan calendar ending on 12-21-2012.. They all predict the rise of the dragon.. I dont think the world will end that day, but I think something will happen.. perhaps the rise of the antichrist? I will be staying up every minute on that day all full 24 hours :D

Blame it on the media. I don't remember the last time I saw a Doomsday 2012 story in the mainstream media. The sheep have had their attention only on what's shoved in front of them... the election, now the Fiscal cliff, Lindsey Lohan's latest arrest, etc.

i remember y2k. everybody was panicking but i was calm, didnt know what were they afraid of. but with 2012 doom date im feeling weird hesitation for a long time. theres something with it. something will happen.

I too laughed at Y2K. In fact, I got myself a sultana, and made a little box, and called it my emergency ration.

But I also feel a bit different about the mayan calendar. I don't think its the end. However I once read a post in a forum that it would be a point of change. Something about that idea rings true.

The end of the Mayan calendar means birth and renewal. There will not necessarily be any kind of “event” – cataclysmic or otherwise. There will just be a new age for mankind and the earth. The Mayan writings seem to support this theory the most. There have been previous ages according to Mayan mythology and there is to be a fifth age beginning at dawn on December 22nd 2012.

I predict that it will be the most boring day ever. A few snowflakes will fall, followed by a sunny day. The markets will go up around the world and gold/silver will rise at the same time. Most people will get a full 8 hours of sleep and get Christmas bonuses at their jobs.

I actually searched for this thread, it is how I found GLP 8yrs ago....I have thought long and hard about posting a thread about this....we are nearly there. Wtf is going to happen in appx 5weeks? We are there, it is here and ffs, I am scared. I know everyone is acting like its no big deal...I really think it is, our planet is going to align with all the others in the solar system and that hasn't happened in for fucking ever but were to just think its NO BIG DEAL. Wtf is wrong with you people?!? This is a big fucking deal people, we are there....this is it. Have fun the next couple weeks cuz that's all we have left.
