EVOLVE doesn't mean that.

A fish doesn't 'choose' to grow limbs to crawl on the land: this is a common misunderstanding of the 'evolutionary' process.

Evolve means, "That random shit your genes did, didn't make you more liable to failing in your random environment," if you have children for enough generations, your species has 'evolved' i.e. wasn't wiped out.

Ants have evolved.
Cockroaches have evolved.
Fish have evolved.

I disagree. Evolution (growing up and maturing!) is a choice.

If you were to see one human being eat a fruit in an unknown forest and then die right after would you not stay away from that fruit because you learned ? That is evolution. A conscious choice when observing natural behavior.
