Earth is going ~ 18.5 miles per second around the sun!
I thought about that for a while, and a good way to imagine that is to picture a ball. If you divide the diameter of the earth by the speed you get 428 seconds, or 7 minutes and 8 seconds for the Earth to shift past one position of itself during orbit.

In a day we travel just about 202 Earths in width, in a year 73,767 earths would be strung along like beads on a necklace.

The sun rises in the east, so we're spinning in a counter clockwise direction looking down at the North Pole. Also, we're travelling in a counterclockwise around the sun, looking top down at the north pole.
I think that means during the day as we sit on the surface, our rotation is going towards the tail end of Earth's orbit of the sun, and then during the night the Earth's rotation is adding to the speed of the earth around the sun.
Slightly slower speed during the day, and slightly faster at night?

The earth spins around we get dark and light, night and day and takes 26 thousand years to go around the Sun we are coming to the end of the 26 thousand years on the 21 dec 2012 the night skies we see the stars etc are the skies our fathers mayans talk about, may well be they are right as there is no human alive been at the 26 thousand year point all new to us as it was to the mayans.

May God bless you all, open your eyes wake up the truth is coming.

18.5 miles a second? How fast is that? Is that like an hundred miles an hour or something?

As the sun rises in the East to open and govern the day, so rises the Worshipful Master in the East

The real name of our spacecraft is the ark.we live and breath as our spacecraft takes us on a trip of a life time,if the mayans are right a sign in the sun will appear may be two suns will be seen in our skies.

Then the rest is history that was told put on stone by our fathers.

Enjoy the night skies this event is your chance to believe, and watch it unfold from spacecraft Gaia/earth.
