Some areas just aren't cleaned in decades. Body grease, jiz, spit, sneeze, shit, hair, scabs, hair grease, trash, lost drugs............. If you ask me, them subways are MUCH cleaner today after Sandy. They should have dumped a cleaner in with the water when it flooded. Nah... salt water heals. Best way to clean and heal a cut is to bathe it in salt water or go swimming in the ocean. Heals triple-quick time. Salt water swished in your mouth (organic sea salt, not table salt with additives) cures cavities and gum problems and even acts as a first line of defense against viruses entering through your mouth. My grand-father gargled with salt water every day and he never once had a cold in his entire life. That's a fact. I can't gargle (no tonsils) but I swish and I haven't had to go to the dentist for years. Yes, salt water does a number on metal but it is one of the main healers for humans. tropical sea water can kill. Friend of mine got bilge water in a scratch and was in the hospital within 24 hours. Most of the entrances are stairways or escalators down into the ground. How many buildings have waterproof entrances? And that's much easier to waterproof than an entrance going down. I'll be interested to see how they waterproof it now, maybe building enclosures around the entrances like I've seen in Chicago. |
