soz bout triple post,internet connection goin nuts.....whoever told me to read the bible and quit speculating....i do read the bible that has caused me to speculate....why does my speculation threaten you.....a little to close to truth for you.no one has all the answers,only a fool will sit back and not even think about endtimes prophecys..we need to understand!

could the mark of the beast be the dollar??? The world are forced to use the fed reserved backed dollar for trade arnt they???

also,america is modelled after another famous kingdom of the past.....the birthplace of democracy which was the democratic republic of greece...this could also alude to the fatal headwound which democracy first suffered when alexander the great died....america has truly ressurected democracy.

Obama and next Biden are the last two little wings of 2nd Esdras 11 & 12............when the power of the Holy people has been broken,all these things will be compleated........6th seal to be opened soon!.........

In my opinion, Obama has nothing to do with the 666 beast.

My theory about Rev 13: The two beasts symbolize man's science and technology at large. We begin with the fact that modern technology is the only thing in the world that can work great signs like those of the second beast. Then man's science falls into place as the first beast, the one that is worshiped as an unbeatable hero by many highly educated, intelligent people. Technology makes people hero-worship science by the great signs which it works in presence of science, demonstrating the great power of scientific knowledge. Finally, mankind will create an AI (artificial intelligence) made in the image of all man's scientific knowledge. And it will speak, and demand that whoever refuses to worship and obey it must be killed, also demanding that everyone must take its mark in order to buy and sell. You ain't seen nuthin' yet, folks!

Yes. OP It certainly seems to be heading that way.

It always bothered me from the beginning when Obama joked about being God or like God. It gave me goosebumps.It was that arrogance that disgusted me. I refused to support him.

From then on, I have a watchful eye focused on Obama and his plans... It seems extremely plausible for him to be the Antichrist. Just seems to fit the description so well. We will see.

There are two simple ways any Christian believer with no special spiritual insight should be able to recognize the fulfillment of Revelation 13:

(1) Wait until you see a world dictator speaking great things and blasphemies like the "mouth" in Rev 13:5-8. Then you should also be able to understand what the beast at large represents. For example, if this world dictator originally came forth as representative of Islam, that would indicate that the beast at large symbolized Islam. If he came forth as a representative of communism, you'd know that the beast symbolized communism.

(2) Keep your eyes peeled for anyone or anything arising on the world scene that actually does have the power to work great signs like those of the 2nd beast of Rev 13. The only specific sign we are given to watch for (before the creation of the talking image) is the sign described in Rev 13:13 (RSV): "It [the 2nd beast] works great signs, even making fire come down from heaven to earth in the sight of men." Once you see this sign, you should be able to tell what the 2nd beast is. And once you understand what the 2nd beast is, you should be able to figure out what the 1st beast is, the one that will soon be given "a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies." For this 2nd beast acts in the presence of the 1st beast, and its great signs are demonstrations of the magical power of the 1st beast.

I've already seen the great sign described in Rev 13:13. Men made fire come down from heaven to earth when the airplane was invented, and then used to drop bombs from the sky. Then, in 1952, the first hydrogen bomb was tested. The H-bomb uses hydrogen fusion, the same type of nuclear fire that lights up the sun and the other stars in the heavens. Our technology brought the heavenly fire down to earth by recreating the same process of combustion here on earth. And some of the early H-bomb tests also involved dropping the bombs from high flying planes. Was this a great sign? Sure! A typical H-bomb is probably a lot more powerful than the fire from heaven by which God destroyed the ancient villages of Sodom and Gomorrah.
