They could still subpoena him to have him testify!

Only if there are criminal charges pending against him. I think he resigned because his testimony would reveal what Obama did and has been doing all across the Middle East with his backing al Qaeda and gun-running. Hope Petraeus doesn't disappear. Chicagostyle. I agree with the fact that he knew what Obama did and what has been happening with the Middle East. Having an affair may not be the whole story, it is just an acceptable may for him to be dismissed without speaking what he may know. I agree with a subpoena being issued for him to testify.
