Wall height is 8 feet. When cutting the stringers for a staircase, there are codes that must be followed. Here, it is a rise of no more than 7.75 per step.
The variable between the rise of the first step and the last can be no more than 3/8 inch. Usually the general rule is 7.5 rise by 10 inch run. Depends on the floor finish.
Do the math.
Quoting: Waterbug Damn beat me to it...Nothing to see here move along Quoting: 05h20 There are exceptions.. Such as the builder excavating and pouring slab for a half-basement to 11 feet instead of 10. Then demanding a landing and a turn in the wrong place... Grrr.
