I haven't had a cold or flu in 7 years. I take a quarter teaspoon of baking soda and mix it a half glass of water first thing in the morning in the cold and flu season.

No need to convince me that you cured yourself of cancer. Anyone have any ideas how I can convince the VA alternatives cured me?
It's really important to me.

The VA knows I have been treating myself with alternative for years. I owned a health food store in the 80's.
I've been into alternatives for a long time.
I often get the feeling the VA thinks I'm "off" however they don't ask if I want mental health help. lol
The only reason I go is because I am filing for comp because I got sick being around ammo dumps and being stationed at a superfund site.

It's not about the money it's the point

What stage where you assessed at when diagnosed?

Also the GIST tumors are 70-80% benign according to the Wikipedia article you posted. So to be fair you only had a 20-30% chance it was malignant. What did the doctors do to diagnose the tumor type?
Was there a biopsy of any type?

The doc didn't even tell me I had it.
Reading my records it was a small tumor in my stomach deep in the tissue right above the pancreas.
This past June I was admitted in the hospital for elevated pancreatic enzymes that scared me into researching my records. I don't drink, do drugs and my diet is pretty clean so there was no reason for that to happen.
The docs didn't know either, they kept asking me if I drink.

Yes a biopsy was done. A GIST is never benign btw.
Maybe it just went away who knows all I know is that it's gone.

Actually, during the heating process, the maple syrup bonds to the baking soda. And, simplistically what happens is:


The cancer cells LOVE sugar, so as they go after the maple syrup (sugar), the baking soda it is bonded to then kills the cancer cells. A Trojan horse, if you will.

Drinking baking soda in water several times a day works well to keep one's boday alkalized, but no doubt works faster in conjunction with the maple syrup, as the cancer cells are attracted to the sugar.

OP and others who have used this method, wish you would post your testimonials on some of the threads that have been posted over the years on this. Have one in my "Favorites" that I will post in a minute - but definitely love follow up from people in threads like this!

And CONGRATS on beating the cancer. But doubt that the VA will ever admit that the alternative method was the "cure". You'll have to rely on things like this to get the word out!!
