I'm amused by the idea that Louisiana, a state of over 4 million, would withdraw based on a poll of 25,000 people, most of whom don't even LIVE in the state in question.

NO state is allowed to leave the union. ever. Any potion will get the same response. Im not buying the civil war crap . It was an illegal war in the first place constitutionally. Texas was a late State to even join , because of the onslaught of Lincoln Killing American citizens. From the start to the finish Texas always reserved the right to leave the union. Even if the federalist seek to steal land to create a empire.
