Under normal circumstances, I would agree with you, but the sad reality of life is there are actually scumbags in this world that DESERVE to be pissed on, and the Taliban is one of them. Those little brat kids who are deliberately provoking the IDF deserve it too! Since they are obviously looking for trouble, I think the IDF soldiers should give it to them. NO military man should ever let people just walk right up to them and attack them like that! Just because they're children makes NO difference. You give them one clear warning and if they don't stop, they get what they deserve!

Sorry, but I don't buy that. Those kids know what they are doing is provocative, confrontational, and asking for trouble. If their parents can't teach them better then too bad, they'll just have to learn life's lessons the hard way. When I was in the military carrying an M16, I was trained that the instant your adversary puts a hand on your weapon, you are authorized to respond with deadly force in self defense. When that kid grabbed the IDF soldier's rifle and pulled on it, he should have shot her right there! I would have! People have to learn there are certain boundary lines you DO NOT cross and if you do, you pay the price for it!

I seriously doubt the little girl was trying to kill the IDF soldier when she pulled on his weapon, she was just trying to instigate a violent response from him so her parents can get it on camera ! So self defense does not apply in this case because his life was never in any danger !

Also I seriously doubt you would of killed that girl in cold blood if you were in the IDF soldier's situation !

As a guy of Jewish decent, trust me it hurts me to see IDF soldiers going through such hardships defending their country and having to deal with that constant harassment, but taking the high road and not responding to those provocations is the right and civilized thing to do ! Again, that's what differentiate us from our barbarian neighbors in the middle east !
