same here, moved our business down in 2009

BEST place to run a business, nothing comes close

and for those who think its a black white thing, that isnt what I see here

my friend from MI who moved down here got a good job with a CPA firm in Oakcliff...he's the only white guy working for the firm

The entire firm is black and work almost entirely for black owned small businesses...and they're thriving

The owner just invited my friend over to see his collection of classic cars..the guy is loaded

It's about succeeding down here, and it's easier to do

for some reason, when I tell people back north about how good it is, rather than join us they send me stupid emails about some trivial fact about texas they don't like, sometihng they read on the web...while never ever seeing the place in person themselves

Their loss. I cant stand closed mindedness and ignorance, no matter what letter of the alphabet it's affiliated with.
