I think we just had an earthquake in KY

Freaky. It rolled. Very short--10 seconds

I felt it in Asheville NC. I wonder where the epicenter was?

10 seconds can feel like a REALLY LONG TIME when you're in an earthquake. Actually, that's pretty long for a shaker. I'm in Cali and most here only last a couple of seconds where you can actually feel it or they come in jolts.

Good luck to all you Kentucky folks, I love that state.

I'm estimating-- and it was my first, so it might have seemed longer! But it began, then got more intense, then I felt it roll. So had to be a few seconds for all that to happen I guess.

WOW! We felt it too we're in Cosby,Tn. we were sitting here at the computer and everything began vibrating-rocking in the whole house,for about 10-15 seconds!! First time I've ever felt an earth quake Oh My Goodness,I'm still vibrating (it was about 12:10 pm here)

I hope this is just one of those rare EQs and not a precursor to anything else.
