Same with Oklahoma, Texas and Ohio who've had swarms of earthquakes in the past 4 years. Quoting: infiniteivan Not real earthquakes but pumping water in the group is screwing something up. It's not fracking. There is a fault there. [link to pubs.usgs.gov] [link to academic.emporia.edu] |

I've driven down through St. Louis and into Atlanta Ga. and those mountains are so freaking nice to see and experience. Good times that was. I noticed from a big picture on the wall that started vibrating, making a scratching sound from moving against the wall. The washing machine wasn't running, my daughter said I was imagining things. STFU As someone who has lived in Kentucky his entire life, as well as as a BS in Geology I suggest you just do a little research, and realized that when you have that kind of mass sitting on top of the craton you should expect to see the mass get displaced and ISO-statically readjust, go take a physics class mate. |
