Married. Wife NEVER shows me affection. HOW COME?

like the other poster said she resents you for something. It is your job to figure out what that is and try to resolve it in a way that pleases her. women have a way of holding on to anything and everything you have ever done wrong to her, whether real or perceived. showing more affection to her will only cause her to pull away further, but showing too little will cause additional resentment.

Don't make the mistake of asking her what is wrong, that will only dig you a deeper hole because she expects you to already know what you are doing and it will cause additional resentment.

I would suggest giving her a little "space" so that if she truly feels anything for you she will eventually come around to wanting you close to her again. But this also runs the risk of acquiring additional resentment because she could interpret this as you not wanting to be around her anymore, though the opposite is in fact the case. The bottom line is you can't force her to feel something for you she does not already, so you need to step back a little so she realizes how much you do for her.

there might be nothing you can do, in which case you will need to adjust your expectations of her, so that each time she does not show you affection you are not disappointed, but in the times she does show it you are surprised and can enjoy it.

Sometimes I'm not affectionate with my husband because he grabs my ass all day long. Then when he actually tries to give me a simple kiss I push him away because I think he's trying to grope me.

Maybe she didn't get any affection at home from her parents. Maybe she never vitnessed her mother giving any affection to her father. Was your wife like that before you married her? Sorry, but you are not giving enough info to get the right answer. Why don't you just ask her WHY?

are you always on the computer? Buy her roses--like a dozen, make her dinner, clean the house, help her in with the groceries, Help the girl out....then and only then will she give....some how it really works out that way...

Affection is one thing . . . but what is wrong with people who believe sex is important for ANYTHING other than perpetuation of the species (which we do NOT need now).

Your a female and trying to lull him into a false sense of security ,he aint no slave and should express himself as the man of the house ,maybe write her a letter stating this and leave it where she can see this ,while he hides in the shed or locked in the downstairs bathroom or if he refuses to cook dinner to make his point known thats what i would do

She's always been this way. Even during dating. She's never been the type to just be affectionate. Plus, she NEVER owns up to anything, never admits wrong. I'm good looking, I'm not rich, but not poor either. So it's not my looks, or my money.

The only thing I bitch about is why she doesn't initiate sex ever and why there's no affection. if I don't make the move it NEVER happens. FRUSTRATING and it sucks. NOT FAIR TO ME.
