[ link to petitions.whitehouse.gov (secure)] We petition the obama administration to: Peacefully grant the State of Louisiana to withdraw from the United States of America and create its own NEW government. As the founding fathers of the United States of America made clear in the Declaration of Independence in 1776: "When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation." "...Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and institute new Government..." I also live in Louisiana , I say oh well if the people of this state want to leave the US then let them. I'm done with both sides of the political spectrum and its division it's driving through the heart of this country. I'm all for different opinions but the people down here really need to do some soul searching. I've heard so mch hate since Tuesday from " someone needs to put a bullet in that ni&$ers head" or" all Obama voters need to be hung for treason". That doesn't sit we'll with me, especially the part to call for the executing Obama supporters,fellow Americans . It's all just madness to me, and madness spreads. But let the south have their new country. I for one have my eyes on Colorado. Politics has forsaken me but pot has never let me down. So go ahead and destroy each other if y'all want, I'll be blowing down in Colorado trying to live my life to the fullest and as peaceful as I can.One more thing, you think you hate Obama? Just wait till jindal runs for president
