MUST HAVE Windows Gadget - Earthquake Meter (Sounds An Alarm On Desired Magnitude)

Earth Meter:

It is a desktop Gadget that informs you of all Earthquakes (USGS) above your desired magnitude from 1 mag upwards. It also has an alarm that sounds above your desired magnitude. You can also set the Alarm to go off at a specific location.

It tells you the mag and position of Earthquakes. Click on a Earthquake and it brings up the details of the EQ and a map of the location. You can set the widget to refresh whenever you want from 1 min upwards. I have been using this for a number of years and just updated it. It is fantastic and is a MUST HAVE....

Download Zip file, extract and double click the exe. It will then add the gadget to your sidebar. It is safe but do an Antivirus check on the Zip if you don't believe me. To access the settings, hover mouse over the gadget and then click the settings Icon, here you can change the widget settings and alarms to your preference..
