Googling, I found two "possible" reasons. This one had a link to an NBC article, but it comes up page not found. It said in Oct. they would start coming 10 days later, but if yours weren't late last month, maybe this is the month it starts? [link to www.topix.com] This one says computer trouble shut cards down yesterday, but also says they won't know how many were/are affected until Monday. [link to newsok.com] This e how article tells how to check your benefits online. You might want to keep checking that. [link to www.ehow.com] Just noticed that the first link was for TN. But, one of the comments said, "From what I've read, the grocers association spearheaded the change. I guess they were having trouble keeping food on the shelves for 10 days and then had very little commerce the last twenty," but I've read posts elsewhere about the grocers assn. wanting things to change, so maybe other states are doing it too? None of that bullshit helps Miggy, DOES IT? What she needs is FOOD and she gets it easily with foodstamps. The program works exactly as it's intended. It's the people she votes for who call her a parasite and cut her off. The Democrats have fought and fought to allow her to eat properly and what does she do? She sneers and jeers at them and votes to strengthen the bad guys! People should rely on churches, you say? That's crap because churches cannot feed the millions of poor in this country. They do not have the resources. She comes from my generation, which looked down on accepting any sort of "charity", so I'm sure that her back was up aginst the wall before she even looked into food stamps, and she most likely waited a lot longer than she needed to before she actually applied for them. Come back in 40 or 50 years from now, I'll bet your attitude will have been changed quite a bit. Well...that's good to know. At least she should be getting a social security check. Hope she gets it soon. |

I was a teenager and I went to my parents and said "if this keeps up for a couple decades, we won't have enough jobs in the USA anymore!" Well, here we are and our country has been struggling to survive the past five years. The ONLY thing that will revive us as a nation is all of us people coming together and marching, millions of us, with our legal weapons in hand, peacefully protesting and demanding a resignation of the entire government in D.C. We must take back our state's rights, stand together, in unison, against the enemy. Your neighbor is not your enemy, our "leaders" are the enemy. They have sold us out. It's high time they pay. |
