It's not iodized so you'll have to supplement with iodine. Unrelated, but I remember an article on natural news about negative calorie foods, check that out. |

Thanks. I'll try. Carrots helped a lot too I think. I'm sharing because I have struggles with this for a while and been in denial about how I can eat anything- which it turns out I can't anymore. Like magic, it started coming off. It was all the food the whole time. Oh, and no more eating (anything) before bed too.... Easy after I started |

Your body needs alot more salt...but ONLY sea salt! Mny athletes...including high school have been dropping-dead because they don't have enough salt in their system to replace the salt the sweat-out. You can't just drink water...sooner or later you will wash-put your body and you will have a heart-attack, if not die altogther! Here watch this MD that has written several books. [youtube] [link to www.youtube.com] Dead doctors such as Adkins and Wallack do lie. They are shills for the alternative health industry, as deadly as the white coats. We get all the sodium we need from vegetable sources. Salting foods to taste is too much. Sodium is directly related to HBP. We do not get minerals from salt, so real salt is of no use. It does not even come from the himalayas. |

[youtube] [link to www.youtube.com] OFF topic but wow, You know what? I had a band when I was a youngster and we didn't have any more cassettes to tape and THAT DAY a cassette came in the mail...It was called "DEAD DOCTORS DON'T LIE". We taped over it and made a song with that same title. Until now, I haven't heard anyone say anything about it besides the people I know from those days. I didn't say "no salt". Definitely done with junk food with too much salt. The preservatives in those foods ARE salt...just like they used to make food "keep" in the old days. Too much is my point. Sorry if it was too vague. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26980506 Probably the cardio and weights more than anything else. What if I just cut out salt and sugar but didn't exercise? I don't know? I have worked out most of my adult life and the cutting out salt showed results. Period. I have no reason to lie to you. |

| Geo777 User ID: 21201441 11/10/2012 03:40 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I totally believe you - I find that if I don't eat sugar, I don't wake up nearly as puffy the next day, especially around the eyes Also, after reading a thread here, I think it was, about 6 months ago, I stopped using regular salt - I had been having terrible bloating that grew worse toward the end of the day - like I was 5 months pregnant, even though I am slender at 125 lbs and 5' 6". I also was having high blood pressure issues (I have a kidney problem, so, have to watch it). So, I began to use only pink Himalayan salt, Celtic Grey salt, and other types of natural salt (not the processed sea-salt from the store, either, just as bad as table salts). It makes a HUGE difference, also tastes very nice, and I don't get the high blood pressure, or the bloating. Now if only prepared, packaged, or canned foods didn't have the bad salt in them. I highly recommend the natural salt to anyone with high BP or wanting to lose the weight. I find it online, or at health foods stores. Geo777 |
