LOL, noticed that too...OP may want to edit title but will be interesting to see how many states pop up with these same petitions. Unfortunately, I doubt it will do much good :(

Honestly, if enough petition, Congress HAS to pay attention to what the people are saying, You cannot blow up the entire country. West Coast and northern East coast would be the only areas he would want to save and that is not going to happen., I see more coming, I really do.

This is very unusual.

Obamas closing line of his acceptance speech was a (not so veiled) warning to these states.

".... and will forever be the UNITED states of America."

Watch it. Feel the force in how he says it.
He is expecting this. And will act on it.

State after state break away from the continental United States and the UN moves in to quell the dissent amongst the people eventually coming to an agreement to create a new United States separated into Larger zones governed by 7 separate individuals.

But these southern states have no compelling issue. In 1860 the traitors were determined to keep and expand slavery but what's the issue now?

The right of women to obtain abortions?

Taking the top tax rate from 36% back up to 39%?

The fact that Obama is half black and was born in Hawaii?

I don't get it.
Obama is far from radical. He's about as liberal as Ford, Nixon, or Eisenhower.

The United States of America... Derrr

This nation can longer call themselves by that name, but the states that secede will be able to bring the name back to its original meaning.

How about the right to self determination; the right of accepting only the traditional marriage; the right to only follow the Constitution; the rights guaranteed by the Constitution; the law of the land followed by all, including the President.

This is what created this country into the greatest in the world. This is what is worth fighting and dying for. This is NOT what Obama wants. As long as he refuses to obey the law of the land, the people of this country have a right and the requirement to fight against him and all that refuse to accept the Constitution.
