I have the solution to New York's rat problem

The solution is simple, but requires cooperation.

You provide each household with a bottle of liquid rat poison.

You set a specific time and date at which they will flush the rat poison down the toilets and cause a vast wave of water cleaning out the sewers and its will also be concentrated with rat poison. This will drown and poison the rats.

Only thing is it has to be a synchronized flush,. If people are sloppy and just do it at around about the time they were told, it will fail. It needs to be down to the minute!
