Peter Schiff Warns of Coming U.S. Economic Collapse 2012

I'm sure this is happening, been sure for years

but Schiff has been saying this everytime he's interview for years now.

I guess NOW we get to see it

their motto is if it first we don't succeed , print , print and print again...just like the cartoon ''bart'' sticking his finger again and again in the AC socket , hoping to get a different result.

I could post one of the dozens of interviews where schiff was calling the housing market to collapse because if sub primes in 2005, 06, and 07, and idiots on Bloomberg and cnbc. I could also post one of schiffs interviews from early 2008 where he predicts banks will begin to collapse because of derivatives and interviewers and guests like stein and Cramer laugh at him. Weeks later lehmans went down and others followed. I could also point out the passages in his 2006 book where he says the first collapse won't be the bad one, the second one will because of all the money printing they will do to fix the first one.

But I have decided against this because surely you must be some sort of financial fucking genius to make comments like these. Surely you must know something schiff and the rest of us do not. So brain surgeon, where are your interviews and books before the 2008 collapse predicting it. Prove that you are not just another jackass posting about things you have no idea about, and maybe we will listen to you

Predicting the housing bubble was not a stroke of genius. Alot of people have seen that. Its not bad standing up against the MSM propaganda during that time, but thats about it.

The prices for houses were going straight up an lots of people made money betting against that.

Celente was a nother guy who got famous for having a face on TV during that time.

Now these guys live off that fame and make money with it. If they would not scream murder every two months they would not get noticed.

I'm saying that Schiff is making money of predicting a financial collapse over and over again. Where is the proof that it will happen this time, as opposed to the last times where he predicted it?

Exactly. You'd have lost a lot of money if you took his investment advice. Yes, collapse is coming but his timing is lousy and he's losing credibility.

So what if he's making money at it? He's a financial adviser - that's what he's suppose to do. I never understood this mentality that it is somehow bad that some makes money off their past success.

As far as your other comment, just how are you suppose to prove something that hasn't happened yet? The answer is you can't. Thus you have to look at previous track record of the person predicting, and we're back to the credibility issue. If you can produce a hedge fund manager, economist, ect, that is on record predicting 2008 before it happened, and is now saying things will be fine, I'll gladly listen. I dont want schiff to be right, I'd be very happy in 2 years we were all laughing at schiff making money hand over fist. But nothing I've seen from my experience nor from credible sources is pointing at him being wrong

He was right 2008. Since then he was wrong. Consistently wrong. Not a good record during the last 4 years. And right now he is preditcing a collapse in 2012. Thats laughable.

And as for Schiff "losing his clients money" and how is "record is bad".... dumases, EVERYONE lost money in the last crash - IF they sold their stocks at the bottom like little bitches. If you held on through the storm, Schiff's recommendations (gold and gold stocks) have outscored the general market by a nice margin.... and that's with his macroeconomic view not yet fulfilled (and it will be fulfilled).

Sidenote: I've found that Schiff haters almost always tend to be the kind of people who think TPTB are some Jewish ("Zionist") mafia. Further proof that they are know-nothing dumases - or just vermin with an agenda.

This election should have been about the Economy ! But Hell no ! We Re-elected the Welfare President . I'm not going to Trash Peter lets see what 2013 looks like .

How old is this clip? Shiff says that the Fed "is soon going to come out with QE3"???? We allready have QE3 and are ready for QE4!

Not what I'm talking about. He was totally anti U.S.$ and U.S. stock market--BAD calls. Your gold gains with him would've been almost ziltch since he's a big proponent of investing in gold MINING STOCKS (vs bullion etfs) which have gotten killed.

Thats what I mean when I say he would've cost you a lot of money if you'd had money with him since 2008.
