I get the feeling its to late for me. I lost my business after a foreign lorry driver didnt see me in his blindspot on the motorway and smashed my car against the crash barrier. This twisted my spine and stopped me driving the commute to work (i had my own successfull pc retail company). The sudden loss of earnings made me lose my home ) as i could no longer afford the mortgage and i was told that as i was self employed and had 20k in the bank at the beginning of the issue i would recveive no state help.
Well i lost my home and moved into rental.
I suffered for 3 years fighting insurance claim, and getting my back fixed (which i had no help with from insurance company)
after 4 years i got 9k payout for the car damage and back issue only, they would not pay out for loss of earnings.
So here i am now, backs better (thanks to me going private gym regulary)I have an online laptop sales as well as a partnership in a local shop repairing laptops and pcs etc. Though i get no state help still, i struggle to pay the rent and have two children. The landlord has squandered my deposit (illegle in the u.k) of which if i ask where it is he has told me he will evict me, the house has damp spores again when i complained he said why not move then... also has not done a gas safety check and the boiler plays up all the time (again not legal in uk).
I despair about the future for me and my children. Im working and not a sponger. Although the market and people buying these product is massivly declining i dont know where im going to find my next months rent. It will cost me tons to move as i have spares everywhere as ive been working from here for 2 years.
