There is so much stress, I obviously lost it. I've fought tooth and nail in my area for the right to just walk on the beach for a bird that wasn't ever there.....

Everyday, it's another fight against closures, taxes, common sense eroded, people on the take.

I'm really just trying to fight across multiple fronts, at times I go broke putting effort into advertising against the media who have endless resources from the groups that push these issues.

I'm an environmentalist at heart, I believe in using resources as needed as long as we replenish or replant what we take, and I'm all for making areas available to explore, sure some people abuse this and leave trash, deface....

But don't fuck us all over for the actions of a few.

Government taxation on the people who get rained on?....really?

To fund what exactly?, and to what proven study?, and at what cost to all of us?.....

And yet their very building which they sit in, are exempt, their homes are dismissed, their business receive a tax break, their friends are discounted from the tab, ......

At what cost, the lives of those who actually pay the fucking bills.
 Quoting: Redpaw360

Where are you located?
 Quoting: Laura Bow

Pacific Northwest.

They tried to close the beaches to a snowy plover, to all activities including kite flying and sandcastles claiming that the bird was eventually or COULD migrate to the northern tip of the pacific northwest....

Their proposal was to just ban all foot traffic and humans from the beach.... Funded from earth first, Audubon society, green peace, ..... And all the government workers who backed this, so they could just milk the money I. Study after study for decades.....

While people who have lived on the coastlines for decades would lose their homes, business would shut, highways closed to the coast....

In the name of a bird, that doesn't migrate, has numerous genetic traces to major populations across the state and is thriving....

Word of warning, their studies are one sided and are skewed to meet their agenda, leaving out key critical facts....

Like natural predation and lack of migratory history...

Arrrgh.

We fight together, or we die a slow death by an agency willing to retire on your dime.

Chrit,

If we follow this taxation beyond strapped municipalities, we would find the UN’s Agenda 21 and their puppet obama as the ultimate culprit. They will tax us out of our homes and properties and foist their “sustainable living” crap meaning we are herded into small apartments.

But the leave the part out where Iceland lost more than 80% of their value and all the foreign banks provided the investment money to other countries who did not throw out the bankers to buy up all the hard assets of Iceland for penny’s on the dollar.

Don't forget VAT taxes work, trust us!!!

Lol....

A pack of common smokes up here in the PNW, in one state cost .4.85. If you travel 1500' across the river it's 9.95 a pack. Due to the luxury tax.

The luxury tax was supposed to fulfill the loss in taxes caused by the recession and would keep them afloat for 3 years based on projections by their ANALysts....

...this voting session, there was 4 new measures to increase taxes to support schools.

When does it stop?. They funneled the rain tax away for art projects for the water treatment plants and flowers for decorations....

Those all died, they were annuals. The art is hideous and who goes to a water treatment facility to view art?

Can you see how they manage your money?, and yet you can't use the very water coming from your roof that you are taxed on.

I might as well try drugs, it's the only thing that makes sense and isn't taxed.... Oh shit, it's taxed now in Washington at 15% first year and expected to climb....

Where's that money going?....what did they claim it was for?

Was it clean bong water?

How did this start?

In Ohio this started when LTV steel closed, they used 30% of the municipal water supply. When LTV steel closed and the city’s water usage dropped 30% The water company kept upsizing at the same growth rate they projected a decade before, they spent every penny. Now because the water supply dropped by 30% they raised water rates by 80%.

Conserve, conserve, conserve then when you do they raise rates for lesser usage. Than they find new and creative ways of “feeing” you to death.

My city sells water to over a dozen communities, yet our rates have been going up. We have a combined water/sewer/garbage bill, which comes every 7 weeks. It is right around $100. The garbage rate went up last week by $2 bucks, and we have only once a week pick-up of garbage, and every 2 weeks for recyclables. We have been told that the water/sewer portion of the bill will be going up 200-300% because our sanitary district is in trouble with the EPA, and has to upgrade.

Going to start with even if your street or even your town does not have storm sewers you still have to pay the tax.

They are getting around the "Tax" with out a vote issue by calling it a fee but It is just a tax.

This is outside your normal sewer bill.

People with wells a septic system and no storm service still get charged.

Snip: For residential properties, they have created a three-tier fee schedule. Tier 1 properties, those with less than 2,000 square feet of hard surface, will be charged $3.03 a month. Tier 2 properties with 2,000 to 3,999 square feet of impervious surface will be charged $5.05 monthly, and properties with 4,000 or more square feet will pay $9.09.

State tax dollars not used to repair infrastructure. (Pissed away on stupid shit)

Fed gives States aid (your money that you paid in Fed taxes) to fix infrastructure.

States accepts money from Fed and doesn't fix the infrastructure.
(Pocketed)

States come up with a new bullshit special tax to cover the repairs of the infrastructure that should have been paid for in the first damn place by the other fucking taxes.

Back in 2009, the United Kingdom proposed that all paychecks would first go to the government for review before it released to the wage earner. The prospect of the government scrutinizing your paycheck and making their own adjustments went over like a lead balloon.

In 2010 the British government changed their tactic to Pay As You Earn (PAYE) where they were exploring the option to move to a system that collects information on PAYE deductions at the time employers pay individuals thus in their words being a real time information system and one step from total government control over your paycheck.

In recent years, America has ambled behind the EU looking for new social ways of taxation and citizen control and I wondered if the America had reached the decadence required to foist this upon the American population. A search of the Internet yielded an article from a blogger from the Black Quill & Ink who proposes the same total control over our money.

Why would this be a total control over our money, primarily it would be the government reviewing for “correct” tax withholdings and could instill emergency taxes and withholdings at will? There will be lawsuits some the government might lose but old communist obama can always bypass congress with a new law he alone deems to be just.

Taken from the HM Revenue & Customs Website:

Coming here? UK Proposes All Paychecks Go to the State First

Statism in the UK: Paychecks to be preprocessed by the state

Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, stressing “the need for employers to provide real-time information to the government so that it can monitor all payments and make a better assessment of whether the correct tax is being paid”, has proposed to modernize the UK’s income tax system. Once employers provide payroll information in real-time, “it further proposes that employers hand over employee salaries to the government first.”

Agenda 21.

The rain water needs to replenish the aquifer within your township. Therefor, you do not own said rain from god....

YOU SHALL PAY UP.

or.....

You can tell these backwater fucking sellouts that their shit fuckin stinks and you'll get a recall vote going the minute they press further for this BS.

THE RATES will only increase over time, you can consider this a tax on mother nature, or god, or for the environment you live in.....

But you better stop this shit now, because a snow tax is next based on the amount of square footage your property encompasses..

How do I know?, I've already fought this battle and won... When I showed the council/ board members lived outside the area they proposed to tax...

Thus, it was a tax on the common folk, not on them.

Rise up.

They also charge you to put fluoride in the water when 90% of it goes down the toilet or drain. Why doesn't the EPA ask about putting tons of fluoride, a class A toxin and pesticide, a year into nature??

Hydrofluoric acid. A hazardous byproduct of the phosphorus and alum industries that instead of them paying to dispose of properly we pay to put it our water.

By the way, its Ohio law that once a community votes to feed fluoride they cannot reverse that decision.

Two fold on the Screens or flywire as it is called ,falls in to a Vat Tax on plastic and static canvas, it was supposed to be repealed just a few months ago but the UK government changed their minds.

Before that they used to have a window tax that was implemented in 1696 and repealed in 1895. When you look at old buildings and realize they were charged per window you realize why many times the side walls never had windows or windows were bricked up. That tax shaped the architectural landscape of the entire country to this day even though it was repealed so long ago.

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

They also tried this in America with the failed glass tax of 1898 that was only collected once.

One of the most controversial taxes ever instituted in history still to this day.
Always good to learn the history of taxes because they recycle them as the decades go by. Study up on the history of income tax, it will surprise you.

I can't believe I missed this thread and here I thought it was just Maryland which lost its mind...

I have said on the Maryland thread and I will say it here...those of us who pay taxes are being taxed to death so that politicians and keep giving free stuff away to those who do NOT pay any taxes.

The politician uses our money to buy votes and then turns around and taxes us some more.

We who make this country work no longer have any representation in our state houses or Washington DC....
