Chrit,

If we follow this taxation beyond strapped municipalities, we would find the UN’s Agenda 21 and their puppet obama as the ultimate culprit. They will tax us out of our homes and properties and foist their “sustainable living” crap meaning we are herded into small apartments.

All you have to do is this:

Find out who is funding this agenda. Every bill has a sponsor, and most likely it is an Enviro group with ties to a local member of the board or agency.

You then sue for collusion.

You have a lot of work to do, as they are buried deep I to this, far before it every tries to be implemented, it is already hidden as to how it got to where you are now.

You need to expose the people who signed off on this, show how they gained from this, who they are tied to that helped to get funding, and then...

Then.... You need to file lawsuits as to the very agencies that passed this with your videos showing the very properties they manage have no storm water reclamation plan in effect.

Every time a local sewer company states they are releasing raw untreated sewage based on the incapacity to handle the basic load on average, that they are violating the federal clean water act themselves.

Trust me. You need to contact James Buchal. He's an expert on waste water discharge and the environmental hoax concerning "saving the environment" and the EPA & DEQ fallacies.

He's not cheap, but he'll help you unfuck yourselves from the agenda.

This fee has been around for ages, just NOT for residential home owners.

Business's that have parking lots ect. get charged extra for square footage that is not natural ground. Some cities are now charging for 'natural ground' as well.

But 'residential'?

ASSHOLES !!

They also charge you to put fluoride in the water when 90% of it goes down the toilet or drain. Why doesn't the EPA ask about putting tons of fluoride, a class A toxin and pesticide, a year into nature??

Hydrofluoric acid. A hazardous byproduct of the phosphorus and alum industries that instead of them paying to dispose of properly we pay to put it our water.

By the way, its Ohio law that once a community votes to feed fluoride they cannot reverse that decision.

Going to start with even if your street or even your town does not have storm sewers you still have to pay the tax.

They are getting around the "Tax" with out a vote issue by calling it a fee but It is just a tax.

This is outside your normal sewer bill.

People with wells a septic system and no storm service still get charged.

Snip: For residential properties, they have created a three-tier fee schedule. Tier 1 properties, those with less than 2,000 square feet of hard surface, will be charged $3.03 a month. Tier 2 properties with 2,000 to 3,999 square feet of impervious surface will be charged $5.05 monthly, and properties with 4,000 or more square feet will pay $9.09.

From the link...

Duke's work will be used as a roadmap for the sewer district's new Stormwater Management Program, a $35 million annual effort to curb flooding in the region by managing stormwater runoff.

Sounds similar to the manure management plan for Pennsylvania, eventually they are going to want to manage EVERY ASPECT of people's lives. Disgusting.

Let me put this one more way..

How is it, that we citizens have to meet all the criteria of DMV and EPA emissions on everything we use that consume gas..

Do city busses?
Do tax payer funded city personnel vehicles?
Do tax payer funded transportation vehicles like Semis, trains, public transpo, or any other funded vehicle or as using vehicle have to meet the criteria?

NO.

SCHOOL BUS's and City Vehicles ( by the tens of thousands ) do not have to meet the criteria... They are exempt.

You, the average working joe, have to comply yearly with all this, and they are exempted. How many of these fuckin politburo jack booted thugs drive a tax payer funded vehicle that is over 3 years old?

They get new shit all the time on our dime, and we get what....

A fucking rain tax?

Fuck that.

RISE UP !!

Use their own rules against them.

Re: NE Ohio Sewer district is about to start its RAIN WATER TAX and it will be coming your way soon once cities realize they can do this.
This is a storm water tax. The EPA has rules about the treatment of storm water in certain areas. The municipalities are having to either treat the storm water or treat the waste water to higher levels. In most situations, it is hogwash. Don't blame your local govt, blame the EPA.

Municipalities withdraw water from local sources, treat it to be drinking water. Users consume the water, along with food and other kitchen wastes, then discharge that water to the sewer. The munis then treat that water (sewage) and discharge it back to the local water sources, usually the same river/lake from which it was withdrawn.

The EPA requires municipalities to discharge the the treated waste water back to the original source in a cleaner state than it was originally withdrawn. Think about that.

The municipalities are having to pay for this excessive treatment, which means that have to ignore other budget requirements, like maintaining the sewer system, to answer to these other excessive requirements.

We can't afford these crazy rules. Don't blame your local officials, blame the root cause, the EPA, riverkeepers, and environmental natzis. No one here is suggesting that we don't have a clean environment, but to what degree is necessary?

Putting the water back into the river cleaner than you withdrew it in the first place? That's crazy and unaffordable.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 27477378

Wow, someone here knows whats up! I live in the NE Ohio area and have worked in many wastewater treatment plants as an independent service technician representing companies as well as been an operator and lab technician for municipalities. The EPA are hopeless.

Let me give people who believe the EPA is good an example of why it actually sucks. One time at work when I was an operator, one of our intake tanks turned a weird color. I immediately sealed it off and tested the water. It was contaminated with Chromium from a mom and pop business that did chrome plating, because they had mistakenly emptied their tank when they blew a fuse and lost power. They were pumping into the tank and when the fuse blew all the water drained out of the tank because it was electronic, and went right into the sewer system and down to our wastewater plant.

They would have been made to pay a gigantic fine that would have bankrupted them but the town made them pay to have the tank emptied by a hazardous waste company instead of driving local jobs out of existence. Meanwhile, giant industrial plants discharge thousands of gallons of water with a tiny percentage of chrome, every day of every year, that pollute even more in ONE DAY than this little place does in a DECADE but pay practically nothing in fines because the EPA SANCTIONS POLLUTION LEGALLY! Pollution should be taxed by how much pollution you add to the environment to maintain the sewer system and equipment IMO. Instead, the EPA sets an arbitrary level of allowable pollution that only big global corporations can afford to meet while punishing small business. These large companies can afford a six figure fine with ease and shrug their shoulders and continue ruining our environment while one simple mistake can drive a small business out of existence, AND THIS IS ALL BY DESIGN.

Hydrofluorosilic acid. H2SiF6. The Germans found they could treat hyperthyroidism with a bath in fluoridated water. Fluoride absorbs through the skin.

This calmed the patients down, but also lowered their IO.

This is why the Nazi's decided to add fluoride to concentration camp's water supply.

That’s the thing, this “tax” goes out beyond the county borders to the surrounding municipalities!

The surrounding cities who are not in the same county even are suing and have been sueing for 5 years now saying the rain water is the responsibility of the local government and this Tax is a city issue not a regional issue.

That’s why this is so important; it will give Cleveland the power to tax other counties on their run off.

The implications of a city being able to tax is neighboring cities for run off are beyond scary.

As an example imagine NY city being able to be able to tax outside it’s municipality and deep in to the suburbs.

I'm looking on the website for the regional sewer district:

[link to www.neorsd.org]

Understanding stormwater, the issues, and solutions
What's the link between water flow and watersheds?

Some people say rain, other say rainwater, we say stormwater, and it's more than just rain. Stormwater is any rainwater or melting snow or ice that flows over the surface of the land to the nearest sewers, lake, or stream.

...

Are there solutions to these problems? Some communities have regulations in place to control stormwater inside their borders, but one community's solution can affect other communities downstream. That is why the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District will develop and oversee a Regional Stormwater Management Program, which will take effect later this year.

This is the SAME STUFF that is in Pennsylvania, only in our case ours is not a tax. Instead, you need to have paperwork filled out and hand if you have even one animal that is livestock (1 chicken) OR EVEN IF YOU DO NOT and use manure to fertilize your garden. This is all Agenda 21 garbage.

Once the court makes the precedence and will spread like wild fire.

Mind you this story is talking about Buy-A-Hog-A-county not Summit county.

Cuyahoga being the most corrupt county in the tri state area easy.

They are bypassing elected officials & county lines.

Snip: Owners of average-size homes -- with 2,000 to 4,000 square feet of impervious surface -- will be charged $57 a year, or $4.75 a month. Owners of businesses, parking lots, churches and other commercial property would also be charged based on the amount of hard surface. For example, a business with a 250-car parking lot that has 120,000 square feet of impervious area would be charged $190 a month or $2,280 a year.

Property owners would be eligible for a fee reduction -- home owners up to 25 percent and business property owners up to 75 percent -- if they reduced storm water runoff by using such features as retention ponds, swales, rain gardens and porous pavements.

Summit County communities that are part of the sewer district had filed a suit before the plan was approved claiming that the Summit County engineer, not the district, has authority over their storm water management.

The district, meanwhile went to Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court where the district was created, and asked for it to affirm that it had the legal authority to assess the fees.

It's that case Berns' clients are asking to be a party to.
In the Motion filed in court, the groups claim the sewer district does not have the authority to do this and that the storm water management plan is an unlawful attempt to expand its scope.
