kiss me

yes grammar nazi's are staritng to get a bit annoying.

anyway you cut that cake, having a spellchek feature is not superior intelligence, so i assume that was an ironic comment. that's the trouble with communicating this way, you can't see people's eyes, or hear tone, but then again, that kind of direct communication proved not to be safe for defensless, women with no one at their corner. the only reason people have to "put up" with each other's spelling is, coz some people grew from angels to predators who do not shy from abusing troubled women if they think that will get them a chance to sleep with her.
that is so sad.think about it, it's sad.

luckaly someone nice posted a funy grammar nazi clip,so i will watch it after this, to forget about how sad the whole situation turend out to be, while some people gloat that i have mentioned them in my post, and imagine that to be some kind of a sick crush on my part.

a 15 year old boy used to molest me sexually when i was 5.

26 year old man raped me when i was 16.

i still have feelings towards these men, they are feelings of disgust and hate.

do not confuse the feelings you provoke in me, repulsion and hate are feelings and they are the kind of feelings you develop when your cousin makes you have sex at 5 years old, or a man you trusted and looked up to, rapes you, or a bunch of people who were suppose to be superior beings and help you get over the biggest loss of you very hard and painful life, see only a sexual object in you, and assume the very worst about you, and will gladly abuse and exploint issues they think you have, and are ready to slap you around if that will get them some cheap sexual thrills.

aw my gosh, i apologize to the OP for ruinning the jovial tone in this thread, i just wanted to make something clear to people who abused me and live in this perpetual delusion that i somehow led them to do it, asked them for it, or have loving feelings for them .
right, now off to grammar nazi's clip....

The idea of the "Grammar Nazi" is a flawed one on it's face.

While using standardized English is a helpful tool to understanding, some people, normally ones with decent, but not outstanding, intelligence try to control the flow of ideas using the only tool they have.

Their education.

Now, on the surface this would be fine, if they were arguing facts that were important to the topic at hand. Instead, since that's often not available to them, they seek to control others using what they can scrape up.

perceived flaws in written language.

Notice that I say "perceived"?

That's because language is actually correct, if it's understandable. The purpose of language is to communicate idea's, so as long as the reader can understand what is written, it is, by definition, correct.

That idea bugs the heck out of some people, who were schooled to believe that only the way they were taught in the fifth grade counts.

Languages that are living are subject to rabid change. It's uncomfortable for some, but it is, in the end, the face of the matter.

Don't worry about the Grammar police, they have no power and don't understand the topic they claim to be teaching you. If they did, most often, they'd keep their mouths firmly closed and walk away.

I don't agree with that premise.
I just think it's easy for most people to be lazy.
The ability to accurately convey complex thought doesn't lend itself well to hillbilly verbiage and spelling.

But, please.. continue to rationalize 'hillbillyism', as perfectly acceptable.

I know you will...

Buried deep within you, beneath all the years of pain and anger, there is something that has never been nurtured: the potential to make yourself a better man. And that is what it is to be human. To make yourself more than you are.

~Captain Jean-Luc Picard

That quote is for you slackers out there.

Here is a thought for you OP. Go read some great quotes, you know, inspirational shit. Then retype them will a bunch of spelling errors and lazy incoherent grammar. Perhaps, you will then understand why spelling and grammar matter. You don't have to be perfect, few are. However, effort is always appreciated.

i cannot spell it's just the way i am, so making paragraphs would kind of be silly since already i write like a kid, and kids do not make pargraphs.

Honestly OP, you a free to be a bad as you want to be. I never call people on poor grammar, spelling, or other English failures. I simply ignore posts that contain such items.
I believe that using proper English is respectful to the reader. Practically, it does matter a lot, simply because poor grammar makes your idea difficult to understand. See Ebonics.

It is kind of annoying (for whatever reason) to those of us who find it rather simple to spell and punctuate. It's almost nearly impossible NOT to correct people in regular conversation as well. We see it as such an easy thing that it's hard to grasp why some people find it difficult I suppose.

Did you not read books as a child? Do you read them now? It seems to me it's the non-readers that have the most issues. Reading is fundamental, yo.

Also, no matter how wonderful your point is, if you (not you you) sound like you didn't pass the third grade, it really detracts from the overall statement.

Everyone makes a typo or uses the wrong your/you're or to/two/too or their/there/they're sometimes. But some of us notice and correct it.

And question... is everyone that's posting here being extra careful not to make an error? LOL

Good one...

That is great scriptwriting.
Mere words, phrases.. assembled and polished by a writer,
conceived and intended to accurately portray the noble insight of a character
and to garner an emotional response from the audience.

Dammit just let us write what we want without having to correct every damm word or mistake that you see

How do you know it wasn't a typo or something or it is because the OP might be suffering from a vision problem?

as mark twain said:

For example, in Year 1 that useless letter "c" would be dropped to be replased either by "k" or "s", and likewise "x" would no longer be part of the alphabet. The only kase in which "c" would be retained would be the "ch" formation, which will be dealt with later. Year 2 might reform "w" spelling, so that "which" and "one" would take the same konsonant, wile Year 3 might well abolish "y" replasing it with "i" and Iear 4 might fiks the "g/j" anomali wonse and for all.
