Remember....METEOR-HITS don't only cause the
dramatic tsunamis like in "Deep Impact!"
If they impact the ground....they can cause
both damaging sonic booms as well as earth
quakes of varying magnitudes (depending on
the size and trajectory of the in-bound meteoroid.)

Interesting that we should be discussing
"Deep Impact" and the Sumatra Tsunami of
Christmas 2004....There was just a 6.9 pt
quake (actually a 7.9 pt. by the OLD
Richter Scale prior to 1980)....synchronicity
again!
