I'm white and 49yrs old, from South Carolina...we were one of the first states called for Mitt....Big time "Bible Belt" area.

I work in a Maintenance dept that has about 200 ppl employed, about 90% white....80% of that "90% white" disliked Mitt in some way, like his "richness", Religion etc.....some said flat out they WOULD NOT vote for him, Most said they would not vote at all, that the GOP had "let them down"

the 10% of other races said basically "who the hell do you think I'm voting for"

This is how Mitt and the GOP lost this election cycle.

I am an American, and everyone in my family voted for Mitt. Had the Military vote not been purged, burned and dumped Mitt would have won.

The should haves and could haves are so disturbing given the gravity of the situation we find ourselves in.

I will add, we need to ask forgiveness from our children and grandchildren, and perhaps our great grandchildren, because we have left a horrible and unimaginable mess for them. We have DOOMED them to a dark future, God forgive us as well.

We didn't know -- When the media told us you switched between diametrically opposite positions on issues, taking your remarks out of context... we didn't know CBS-NBC-MSNBC-ABC-PBS were biased.

We didn't know -- Rather than "selling America short," Mitt, you and the investors at Bain did your best in tough economic times to pull American jobs out of the fire by helping companies restructure and survive. Maybe you could have done that for the whole country, starting in 2013.

We didn't know -- Natural Born Citizen, according to the U.S. Constitution, means that both parents are American citizens, so that the loyalty of the candidate to the USA cannot be questioned on grounds of family ties. Gov. George Romney, father of Mitt Romney, while born in Mexico, was born to American parents, and Gov. George Romney was an American citizen. That has never been in question. Mitt's mother was Lenore Romney, and she herself ran for the U.S. Senate from the State of Michigan. Lenore was an American citizen, and that has never been questioned either.

On the other hand -- Tell us again, please, children... Who were Obama's parents? Why are all the childhood pictures of him, and the pictures of Stanley Anne with her parents (not the cheesecake photos of Stanley Anne on Frank Davis's sofa) obviously photoshopped?

Mitt was a dork from the very beginning. He only made a fool of himself in the last two debates. If he did not speak further, he would have won. According to Gallup he had a Five percent lead in the polls a week before election day.
