I checked it after the quake, checked it now and it has been updating but NONE of them are showing the quake...

Either there way behind showing the quakes on them graphs or there not telling....

Also, the quake was felt strongly in Chiang Mai, and it was felt all the way down in Bangkok. Here is a Bangkok expat forum where people are talking about it:

Maybe you should have looked at this seismic monitor output from Chiang Mai. It's totally off the charts.

A strong earthquake struck northern Myanmar on Sunday, causing residents to flee their homes, but no injuries or major damage were immediately reported.

The magnitude-6.6 temblor hit the area at 7:42 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The quake had a depth of just 10 kilometers (6 miles) and hit 117 kilometers (72 miles) north of Mandalay, Myanmar's second-largest city.

Four residents of Mandalay, contacted by phone, said the quake was strong enough to send people dashing out of their homes for safety, as water splashed out of jars. They said they saw no major structural damage in their immediate neighborhoods, but added that it did cause cracks in some walls.

The epicenter of the quake is a region frequently hit by small temblors that usually cause little damage.

That seismograph is not off the charts...In fact, it is not showing anything in the last couple of hours....It is flat lined...

Yes, it shows a slight bit of shaking over 9 hours ago (the wiggly line you see) but it is still no where near totally off the chart.

I do know seismographs to a certain extent and that chart is showing nothing, which means it's not showing the quake at all, yet...Them charts look like there hours behind...

What are you look at??? Look at the 01:00 GMT line. The EQ occurred at 01:12 GMT, and it is most definitely completely off the charts.

Do you completely lack the facilities to read these seismograph plots, or are you really, really desperate to cook up yet another silly USGS conspiracy?

I'm right, they haven't updated since 01:15am UTC, it is now 02:46...

That means them charts have not updated for well over an hour....

My only concern, is that the force transmitted southward verticlly into the "Indo-Austrailian plate"...which has been discussed over several days regarding the rise of about 2300 feet of ocean floor,underneath tsunami bouy #53046 near Sipan Is. SAATUM program...a scientist whose last name was Lyng, just happened to die a couple of weeks ago after reporting the sea floor rise.
Generally, somewhat, surface quakes, (i.e. ) Myanmar 10K depth (6 mi) causes surface damage...but...the really deep quakes can transmit waves for possibly 100's of miles...let's see what happens...i'm more concerned about the west coast USA....

Maybe you need to understand that Thailand is GMT +7. The chart is within 5 - 10 minutes of being up to date.

And I suppose that now you have seen that it was off the charts when the EQ occurred?

These volcanos are happening precisely in a volcanic area of Myanmar with eruptions from about 10,000 years ago. It's been dormant since this, but maybe things are starting to happen there now?

Considering the area in question refers to the Indian ocean (the closest to Myanmar), which is hemmed in via Australia to the west, India to the East (and Africa), then the west coast of the US is not in line of site.
