I dont beleive in the 2012 Doom scenario so I have not preped. But in saying that I have a feeling of imminent doom so I m torn. I m not that worried if the SHTF cause I can survive. I know how to fight fish hunt and grow veges. my kids will be ok. Unless it is a nuclear holocost then I hope I die first

As far as I'm aware, there are no groups like that around here. So I'm just wondering....
How many preppers belong to your group and how often do you meet? How long have you been meeting.. and are there many prepper groups in your area?

And were they mostly older people or younger people?

I started watching the Discovery Preppers programmes got half way through the second and switched off.

These people (not you OP??) don't have a fucking clue how ridiculous they look to the discerning public. I was crying laughing at them, poor fuckers came across as disturbed people living in fantasy worlds. Good on them though for being proactive and ahead of the game.

But what is really disturbing is the Ad for the Preppers competition. You have to go onto Farcebook to enter. It hit me that the programme is all about luring in people like you OP, so that you cna be catalogued and put on the list!
