Has Anyone Seen The Movie - "Melancholia" about Nibiru?

Started to watch but had to stop after 15 minutes.... Awful movie!!!

first half sucks. second half ok. i like how he used the coathanger to tell the distance. larger or smaller circumference. i'll do that when we can see nibiru.

I saw it. I liked the contrast between the two sisters world view upon learning they were going to die. The depressed one accepted it and the happy one fell to pieces. Would have been better to have gotten an off world view of the impact, but other than that it was a good movie.

its supposed to be artsy fartsy. director said he feels like he understands hitler and sympathizes with him.

BTW... doesn't seem weird that she'd get naked just for this movie? Don't they (the film makers) have to pay her a lot more for this? I can't imagine this film raked in the dough!

The end was great! No way to escape, not really about the end of the world, but more about the breakdown of the one sister and her helping her other sister out when the time is right, not that bad of a movie, but most of Lars movies are like that, got to take it with a grain of salt.

It's actually a brilliant movie with tons of symbolism embedded in it.

Kirsten Dunst's tits are really nice!

I watched this at the worst timing.
I was horribly depressed and had tons of bad things going on...

After watching I wanted to die.
It depressed me all to fuck!
Its got that hopeless doleful ambience to it!
The Swedish are good at that!


But not a bad film.
