I pray for your friend tonight. Keep a pet around him, they ease the pain. Smoke some weed, try anything. Don't sit back and watch, I will pray though.

Maybe while he's lying in bed or wherever he is, buy him a straw and poor him some homemade lemonade to drink. Lemonade is another alkaline. For sweetening use Stevia which is a natural sweetener. Use that instead of sugar in the lemonade.

Try whatever naturals you can and hopefully by God's will he gets better.
